Kitty (exacerbati) | 6 comments - I had this book in the 90s & believe it was from the 70s-80s
- Christian fantasy, slight rip-off of C.S. Lewis/Narnia
- Not sure if it was part of a series or not

Plot details:
- more than one kid (sister & brother maybe?) transported into fantasy land
- the Jesus fantasy figure smelled like cedar/pencil shavings to the main girl character
- girl character ends up in tunnels at one point being tempted by illusion magic
- has to walk over a terrifying chasm
- white flying horse/possibly was an angel?

Marisa (marisasorenson) | 231 comments One of the books from the Archives of Anthropos series? One of them has a flying horse: Gaal the Conqueror. Another has a tower: The Tower of Geburah. Many of the reviews mention it being a rip-off of Narnia.
