I definitely prefer futuristic stuff these days, but I know historical is probably easier to find so I'm good with either xx

I agree. FAR prefer futuristic but not sure what I've got on my shelves.

Anyone have rec's for futuristic (other than Metahuman as I'm getting ready to start #5 but I listen to them and dont want the pressure of this challenge to read it :))

I'm using the one I purchased. I have the longer one, not the earlier version. Do I still need to change it? Do we not use the version we read so it is accurate?

Well that's very unfortunate that we have to use the wrong version from what we read. Sorry about that guys. I just assumed that we would use the version we read.

Yeah sorry about that Jo, its one of the rules MK put in I think to make easier to check but yeah I get can be annoying as you read longer version. Luckily we have enough pgs anyway so all good 😊

I chose to use the first edition Kindle as a way to try to keep things fair. Everyone has to use the same edition, no matter what they read - be it the large print hardcover or an audiobook. Since so many tasks require page counts, it is just an attempt to keep things somewhat balanced. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah I think it makes sense as everyone on the same level, so it's a pretty good idea MK. I think sometimes just auto put the edition read as that's instinct, but I do appreciate it and all the work you have put into this challenge. Its great and so unique! Thank you 😊

And I totally understand about just putting in the first number you see or the edition you read. I try to keep my editions on GR as Kindle because that is the book I would read, even though I mostly listen these days. More often than not I am changing them after the fact though. 🤷🏻‍♀️
