Maybe, when we have a challenge similar to the last one, the first one that responds can pick they type, in this case the book cover color. Maybe it will be something that the cover model has on, i.e. hat.

Jo * Smut-Dickted * (josmut-dickted) | 332 comments Sunshine I'm good with that. I have thousands of books so I would be fine with someone picking and then I'll just match up :) I think I'm the "latest" in the day to get up :)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments Could do, although we have decided on a lot of the tasks already I think just by majority.

9 - Subgenre easy answer is M/M romance

51 - We all seemed similar agreement but didn't decide one, looking through I'd go Nov, Aug or Sep 2019?

52. Shall we go New York, since I think using England for another one.

55 - Teams 1, 9, 7 and 11 are the other mm groups. Which ever we pick we read one of the books they have for this challenge, so maybe shall have a look at theirs see which we match.

57 - I think can read for anyones hometown in the team, exept for your own. Those are listed still on 1st page

58 - Just go for most recent 2017?

59 - I would go with 90s, but to be honest I'm probably have to search for any of the decades so if prefer 70s can do that. I didn't see yours Sunshine.

62 - Easy, all our birth months on first page.

65 - Majority we picked Australia

69 - Majority we went Law Enforcement

73 - We picked 2019

60 - Majority for Beach

63 - Go with A? I realised doesn't include articles so the wouldn't count... If we went T.

67 - I feel like shirt is best for this but anything I'm sure can find book for.

75 - Enemies to lovers is easy find, we did fake relationship for series 😊

Elizabeth (elizabeth_greece) | 1918 comments Let's finalize the tasks we can and the first person decides for tasks we've already have options.

9 - M/M romance

51 -Nov 2019 would have more books to choose

52. New York

58 - 2017

59 - 90s

60 - Beach

63 - A

67 - shirt

75 - Enemies to lovers List: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...

#57: Read a book set in one of your teammate's hometown, we all need to read a book from the same location, so Chicago or England?

#21. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate
We can have a list of recs (3-5 recs each) and pick from there (Kat ok'ed it)
Elizabeth's recs
1. Mexican Heat
2. Adulting 101
3. Tallowwood
4. Rough Canvas
5. Gives Light
Laura's recs
6. Nova Praetorian
7. Dar and Gregg
8. I'll Be Your Man
9. Details of the Hunt
10. Two to Tango

Jo's recs here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Sunshine's recs here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

#66. Pick a list with over 100 romance books on it. Any preference? How about Best M/M With An Actual Story (nearly 1000 books there) https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3...

message 206: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments 57 - I'm happy with either, but think England is easy.

Here's recs for 21
Nova Praetorian
Dar and Gregg
I'll Be Your Man
Details of the Hunt
Two to Tango

66 - That list seems perfect

Awesome! I tried to pick ones that none of you have read or had on tbr, they are all books ive loved too and wanted to provide variety of genres as well. So I'm glad worked out rather well 😊

I love the look of Mexican Heat and I might have to give Adulting 101 a chance, I keep skipping over it but seems to have good reviews.

Jo * Smut-Dickted * (josmut-dickted) | 332 comments Completed my book and updated the completion post.

Jo * Smut-Dickted * (josmut-dickted) | 332 comments A couple of thoughts:

Are there any 1990's MM romance or gay romance? I can do MF but just wanted to check.

I vote England for #57 teammates hometowns. It is easier.

My rec's - tried to base as much as what someone has on the list:

Someday, Someday
NoX
Rock N Soul
Bad Judgment
Depth of Field
Be My Best Man

(I'd probably select Adulting 101 or Nova P off the current list)

Almost never heard any of those. I've only read Brokeback mountain, which is a short book.
Edit: the collection Close Range: Wyoming Stories, where this story was included is more than 150 pg, though.

I'll probably go for a mystery if we get this task, I've got at least ten in my TBR published in the '90s.

message 214: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments I'm probably go m/F if we get the decades task, it's just easier. Thanks for the list though Elizabeth, very helpful!

I've got Depth of Field as one of my SH books, I'm leaning towards that one or Mexican Heat so far if this task is called 😊

Im almost done with my book so will get all posted soon xx

message 215: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments Completed and posted! Look forward to next task 😊

MountainKat | 31599 comments Here is Task 8:

62. Read 6 books published in a teammates' birth month, you may not use your own month.

Use the initial publication date for this task. You need to use a teammate's birth month - not your own. If two of you share a birth month, you can use it then.

message 220: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabeth_greece) | 1918 comments So, I'm reading a book published on July and all of you could pick either July or December.

Agreed! I don't give 5 stars easily but Captivating literally just had me the whole time. So interesting, beautiful and messy in the best way. It just worked so well xx

message 240: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments Btw I think it's like 2am for Jo at the moment so probably won't get to it fo a while, maybe not before MK checks so probably put in completion that waiting for Jo to update with date. As we can't get next task till then anyway 😊

I stayed up late finishing and literally changed my post and went to bed so I didn't even see Sunshine's which was like 10 minutes later. The time zone thing is a killer!

Awesome! It's literally amazing and so unique, I've not read anything like it before. The first book intoxicating is pretty good too and has a couple characters from that one, with few references but I didn't think that book as anywhere near too how much I loved captivating xx

There was a task for Team 1 for a book with a boat/car/motorcycle/airplane on cover. Which one should we pick if we get it?

You can skip book 1 easily! It's completely different characters, just the bodyguard agency stays same. So you see them in each book, Linc is bodyguard/MC from bk 1 and Wyatt is Elijahs friend but that's all. So they appear but don't need to know their story first.

Captivating is all Shep and Elijahs story 😊
