It looks good, if we get subgenre shall we just go for mm romance as easier?

Oh for FAC that's awesome!

Great that can use hometown, do we pick one of ours that all read..."

My hometown is actually in Minnesota. It's a border town. Because everyone knows "Fargo" due to the stupid movie - I just use that. I grew up in Moorhead which is in MN. Literally like 2 blocks away as I grew up on a farm on the river (a river separates MN from North Dakota there). BUT technically - Minnesota so that should be the state we look for (I did edit my original post but I think too late for all to see it).

As I understand, we should pick one setting between Minnesota, Chicago and England. I'd say Chicago or England are common settings for books.
Just found this list Book sset in Minnesota (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...)
There are at least 3 books I could read set in Minnesota, if you'd like to pick this location.

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments I'm happy with any I'm sure could find one for each, maybe would like to try something other then England if we're using that for one of the other tasks I think.

3.5 Stars rounded up

(When the snark overwhelms the plot and makes for a rushed reading...not as good as it could be).

MountainKat | 31599 comments Here is Task 4!

25. Each player reads a book in a series, teams decide. No pass for this task.

You do not have to read the same book, but all books must be in the same series. Connected series do not count unless they are all books are listed as one series on GR.

Jo * Smut-Dickted * (josmut-dickted) | 332 comments OK here are some ideas for series. I tried to pick series which have books on Kindle Unlimited where I could but I put a few on the list that have been highly rated or discussed frequently enough many people know them.

I think books have to be 150 pages so not all series have enough books.

ACE's Wild Series
Stallion Ridge Series
Save the Kids
Project Zed Series
Cabrini Law Series
First and Forever Series
The Protectors
THIRDS Series
Fish Out of Water Series
Beacon Hill Sorcerer Series
Metahuman Files

Straight Guys
Cafe Om Series
Fake Boyfriend
Unbreakable Bonds
Death and Destruction
Harrisburg Railers Series
Out for Justice Series
Delicious Series
Twist of Fate Series
The Rogue Pack
Whyborne and Griffin
Signs of Love Series
Big Bad Wolf Series
Cold Case Psychic

Love in O'Leary
Zero Hour

Feel free to recommend any - I just did a quick 45 minutes grabbing some that I've got on my shelves. I Bolded the one's I am most interested in...but I have a lot of flex.

There are a few really popular authors I struggle with big time: TJ Klune, A.E. Via, and a few others so would prefer to not have one of their series.

Elizabeth (elizabeth_greece) | 1918 comments First of all, THANK YOU, Jo, for all the work you've done preparing this list!
From the bolded ones I'm not interested at The metahuman files, and I've read all books in Beacon Hill Sorserer. I'm game for any of the others. My preferences:
1.Fake boyfriend,
2.Big bad wolf,
3.Zero hour
4.Death and destruction
5.Cold Case Psychic
Form the non-bold my preferences:
1.Unbreakable Bonds
2.First and Forever Series
3.ACE's Wild Series (I think this is the one with the shortest books, but some are less than 150 pg)
Also to consider:
Dreamers series (https://www.goodreads.com/series/2528...)
Portland Heat series (https://www.goodreads.com/series/1444...)
Claimings series (https://www.goodreads.com/series/1355...)

19. Read 6 books with animals on the cover.

Animals can be real or mythical, but the image on cover needs to represent the real animal, so not a tattoo for example.

message 140: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments Oh that's cool, we're doing petty good xx It's nice pace to me so far, things going to start get difficult again once SH cats tomorrow and bingo. So see how books fit and such, might end up bit slower😊

message 141: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabeth_greece) | 1918 comments I'm doing bingo, as well but not SH this year. Hopefully SH categories will fit our tasks ;)

message 142: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments Oh sweet! Lol I hope so too, although depending what tasks we get some might be able to swap around to fit with SH anyway if lucky 😂

message 143: by Sunshine (new)

Sunshine (sunshine22222) | 935 comments Let’s us know how how we can get our books to fit your SH tasks. Happy to help. I’m not doing SH either this year.

Elizabeth an I was on an AWESOME SH team together a couple of years ago. (view spoiler). After that... I never had the bandwidth to signup again.

message 144: by Trip (new)

Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments This is my first SH and regular bingo, I did Christmas bingo last year 😊 Should be fine I read a lot anyway at the moment, just have to wait and see what tasks get and the categories xx

Awesome that you both won! That's great xx

Jo * Smut-Dickted * (josmut-dickted) | 332 comments Agree with the SH categories it gets..well dicey.

However, I am dedicating the weekend to Animal Crossing, Reading, and the workouts I need to do. Here's hoping!

The one I was going to read is too short and the other I'm not sure off at moment it seems to be hit or miss with people... So Jo if you already have one and get too it first, feel free xx
