Just an FYI - from the Q&A if your recommendation is a series book, the entire series is open to be picked from by the rest of us. Basically we can read at the point we are at in that series. :)

I threw in on M/F high fantasy because well it's one of my favorite series', though admittedly the first book is very on the dark side. I stuck with series' to give the most variety for picking.
Myzan’s favorites:1. Forsaken
2. Murder at Pirate's Cove
3. The 5th Gender
4. Good Boy
5. You Promised Me Two Years
So... I tried to take a broad approach to this and do series, but ended up with 2 that aren’t.
#1 is the fourth book in the series and the best up to that point in my opinion. The series is connected to the Baretti Security series by the same author, and later connects to the Made Marian series by Lucy Lennox. I’m currently trying to catch up on all these series...
#2 is the first in a MM mystery series that I loved and plan to read the next one as soon as I can fit it in.
#3 is a MM Sci-Fi Mystery. I just loved the alien MC...
#4 is MF, but it’s Blake from Us, so how could I not?
#5 is a Young Adult MM fantasy book with an asexual(?) MC. It’s been a while since I read it, but I know I loved it back then and I rarely like YA at all.
Wow- 5 that's hard! I tend towards more lighthearted contemporary books... they are all also audiobooks if that helps at all.1. Finders Keepers
2. Honeymoon for One
3. Dex in Blue (in case you want something darker - the first book in this series is pretty angst-ridden)
4. Save of the Game (I love this series, it's very funny).
5. The Witness (this is the only mf book I've tagged as favorites... so there it is).
Only five books - so many more favorites but I choose these:1. Jon's Downright Ridiculous Shooting Case (lots of fun and I love the paranormal aspects)
2. Rend (I'm not sure whether #1 or #2 is my favorite but I loved them both)
3. Reading the Signs (One of my all time favorite MM sports romance)
4. Deal Maker (Love the series but this is my favorite book of the series and one of my all time favorite reads)
5. A Ferry of Bones & Gold (One of the best MM fantasy series out there IMO)
I'm going to pick Black Dog Blues from Shelby's list and Forsaken from Myzan's list.I've read a lot of the books on your lists and loved them - I added You Promised Me Two Years to my TBR for when I need a YA book since I rarely read them but that one sounds interesting. I'm also going to have to move Breakaway Honeymoon for Oneand The 5th Gender up on my reading lists!
I’ll go with the series rule and pick Chase in Shadow (Dex in Blue) from Michaele’s list and Rule Breaker (Deal Maker) from Danielle’s.You are all horrible people, posting so many interesting books. My TBR just keep on growing... 😉

I'm going with the series rule and reading Absolution as the first book in the Protectors series from MyzanM and A Vigil in the Mourning from the Soulbound series off of Danielle's picks. :)

I’m changing my second book.... I know I’ve got the book on my laptop, but I have no access since my daughter’s school issued chrome book decided to not cooperate and she needs to get an school assignment done by tomorrow. So I picked a book I already had on my tablet, because we have to be flexible in these times...
I’ve been thinking of re-reading Hell & High Water this year because I really want to love the series like everyone else. I put the series on hold since I didn’t connect with the characters. So, this is me, giving it a second try.
(I actually like it better so far, so I’m crossing my fingers it will hold until the end!)

So for a quick look - some of the 2020 lists are still pretty short. Thought I'd see if any of the books I planned to read had a short list. These two both had planned books on them. February 2020 MM Releases

I'm good with the second list as well. I have a couple books on that list that are high up on my TBR :) But I'd be happy with the first one as well.

The item you are looking for needs to be specific - a gun is specific, weapon is not; ring is specific, jewelry is not. Another example is both rose and white flower are both acceptable - you do not need to look for white roses, unless you want to. 😉 Please post the qualifying cover in your completion post.
We could do a tattoo on the cover - that shouldn't be too hard?
But is a tattoo an item? I'm not sure. To me an item is something you can pick up or hold in your hand.So something like a Flower/Cup/Tie/Watch - a few ideas that jumped to mind.
How about White Shirt - there are a ton of those on M/M book covers or a gun - that's easy to find as well.

A white shirt would work.
I have a book I have to read tonight for another challenge that has a white shirt. I'm going to start it if we decide on something else I can always read another book with whatever we decide.
I can find something that works. I’ll start mine as soon as I find it.
