Allie | 161 comments Ugh that book took me forever to read. I literally fell asleep every time I picked it up. I don't even know why, but I could not stay awake. It wasn't terribly boring or anything. So strange.

Allie | 161 comments How are finally going Nicole? Will you be done soon? Don't feel sorry.

I've been way off my reading recently. I'm just distracted by life. Its been hard just finding books that keep my interest. I think real life is just too much. I've taken up jigsaw puzzle and audiobooks, but I miss being able to actually did and read a book without falling asleep.

message 110: by Allie (new)

Allie | 161 comments I've alerted MK of our task completion, so we should get it next one soon.

MountainKat | 31755 comments Here is your next task:

66. As a team, pick a list with over 100 romance books on it, each member reads a book from that list. No pass for this task.

The team needs to select one list and you will all read a book off that list. This does have to be a Romance list.

I have until the first week of May and then I'll be done with school. My attention span for it has gotten very short. If I can I'll go home and work during the Summer but who knows at this point!

I agree with it being hard to read physical books right now, I've been listening to a lot of audiobooks.

Jamie (TheRebelliousReader) (iambrucewayne) | 1049 comments Good thing we have a bunch of lists now we just have to narrow it down and pick one. LOL. I vote for Best Love Stories because there's a wide range of different romance genres on it but I'm up for whatever. The Slow Romance is a good choice as well.

message 115: by Allie (new)

Allie | 161 comments I agree with Best Love Stories from our too three. There are a ton of books in all genres it will be easy to find something.

I read the first years ago, and was so emotionally turn up after this book that I never picked it back up. I've enjoyed reading the first three, but this one stands apart by a long shot. It's so beautiful and guy wrenching. I'm hoping to catch up on the series by the end of the year.

MountainKat | 31755 comments Here is your next task - I always seem to be checking your team as I am heading to bed:

69. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.

Professions such as musician or law enforcement officer are fine. Just don't try to pass off both a rancher and a chef as food industry - they aren't close enough. Make sure you let me know how you know what the character's profession is - precis, title, tag or list. Don't just say 'hero/heroine is a ...' - that doesn't tell me where to look. 😉 Remember to use the Kindle edition page count.

message 148: by Allie (new)

Allie | 161 comments Hmm we missed this one when we planned. Sports romance are pretty easy to find. Hockey, football. The only profession I'm really against is business, CEO type romances. I tend to not enjoy those.

Jamie (TheRebelliousReader) (iambrucewayne) | 1049 comments I love sports romances so that could work. Also musicians.

message 150: by Victorian Vickie (new)

Victorian Vickie (vhartwell) What about romances from royalty - kings/queens/ ducks/duchess. Would those be considered professions?
