Ken (ogi8745) | 1430 comments Well its been a while since I have posted.
So here goes
FInished
War, the House War books are completed. Not a bad ending.

Norco '80: The True Story of the Most Spectacular Bank Robbery in American History
Interesting. Couple of guys fail robbing a bank and a running gun battle to catch them. The cusp of the militarisation of the police

Agency
William Gibson's latest, sequel to Peripheral. It's very good

Vallista
Latest Vlad Taltos. Have to say one of the weaker ones. Good though

Space Odyssey: Stanley Kubrick, Arthur C. Clarke, and the Making of a Masterpiece
The making of 2001. Interesting book

2061: Odyssey Three
3001: The Final Odyssey
The final two Odyssey books and very disappointing

Casino Royale
Live and Let Die
James Bond!!! Very much a product of their times.

Now presently reading
The Crippled God

I finished and thoroughly enjoyed The Invisible Library and definitely plan to continue with the series - looking forward to hearing what you all think of it! I was in a re-reading mood so I'm now lost in an old favorite Hyperion, and I'm sure I'll end up reading all four.

I finished The Barbed Coil by J.V. Jones, 8/10. A different take on magic, although the actual “how” of it is never quite explained, and an interesting story. It was a long book but it kept my attention all the way through.

I think I’ll tackle The Rebirth, the second Cyteen book by C.J. Cherryh before diving into The Invisible Library for our May fantasy read.
