Quick question - can I go back and add a buddy read link to my review later? I finished a book but the person I am BRing it with hasn't finished it yet, so I wasn't sure what the rules were with that :)

@phoebe: Just post the BR link now, as long as you've made the minimum 4 required comments and have finished the book. You don't need to worry about what your buddy is doing when you buddy read, just as long as you have the 4 updates

I'll have clockwork princess finished today and hopefully the body painter for a ton of P's. So far I have 4 books with 4 P's and Aly is going to buddy read one with me. We have this. Even if a team has a surge we have started off strong.

Yay team still have around 200pt lead! Just gained us 34 points or something from Crown of Midnight as well as two more completed APRILs so 54 points from one day's reading. I'm happy with that XD

Maybe anyone else who joins late can just go to the other teams to help even it out. I like winning but feel bad when there's no competition. I've been on that side and it's not much fun

That is true Aly. Last month my team could never keep up I read less then normal but I still got over 30 reads in and it is frustrating. Plus i do believe me and you are two of the biggest readers in the whole group. I'm always trying hard to beat you most months I can't. But it's on this month. I'm not in it for the group I'm trying to get top reader this month :P Only joking guys I'm working hard for the team.

I think the main thing this month is to just complete April alot of teams are getting lots of letters all you need is the right book to complete the word 4 or 5 times.

My favorite challenge is the one we had were there were two teams that was fun and the way that both teams were in the lead at certain points.

Plus I'm slowing down today. Clockwork princess is a long book and people keep interrupting me so it's taking even longer.

I want to read all the Shadowhunter books in a row at some point this year. Cassandra Clare has an order she recommends so I'm going to use that.

I have the others im probably reading them put of order lol. I've read clockwork angel and Prince then I have the smaller books to read later. I'm enjoying it but I have to be in the mood as it's longer then my other reads.

I tried doing the audios, with only a few days between each one, and I just didn't care enough to remember details. It was such a waste of my time. So I've accepted that the series isn't for me.

I'm reading as it's on audible stories and it's the Stephen Fry version, as well as . I should be done with the second book either late today or early tomorrow and hope to have the first done soon; I just need to get into it.

I love Fry's narration of it, although his way of saying 'Harryyyy' is so goddamn whiny and I can't deal with it

I am so used to the Dale version I suppose. I am excited to listen to this one though! I only wish I could get my hands on the rest of the books with him narrating it but only the first is offered with his narration.

Just as a reminder: you can claim letters from the title, including series, author's name, and any other language editions with English letters
Also, if your book has April in any of those combinations, it is best to claim that as it's an automatic bonus
It's better to claim 5 letters if possible, and only claim year published or character's name if your book doesn't have enough letters as there's only a maximum of 10 points per book
