I'm with all the Dresden fans. I'm reading/ listening to Death Mask. I agree Marster's great at the audio books. I'm rereading them with the intent to complete the series this year as part of another challenge.

yeah, I know, but the challenge is to complete the series to the date of the end of the year. So I only have to finish it to the point of what he writes in 2015.

Both quirky, enjoyable mysteries with original plots instead of cliches-eg terrorism, people trafficking etc.

Apparently I can handle 20 books using the same formula, but book 21 is starting to push me over the edge!
The Death trilogy I mainly read while I was sitting in my kids's room trying to get them to settle down and it was an easy way to distract myself so I wouldn't engage them :) I LOVE the Charlie Davidson series (where she's a grim reaper), it's one of my favorite series!

I have that on my list for this year (it's a Randomizer challenge requirement). Did you like it? I've seen the movie, but it's been years.

Thanks! I bought the hardcover used a couple years ago for a couple bucks and it's been sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I just needed a push to read it!
Just completed my selection for #13 Architecture - The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman. Beautiful story with lovely prose. Really interesting characters. My only criticism was that at times the story got lost in the language. Definitely worth reading. 4 stars7/25

Adding No.20 for feeling. I just started reading Mr. Gatling's Terrible Marvel. I finished reading Glock for Weapons.
Just completed my selection for #25 Occupation - Messenger by Lois Lowry. Much better than the second book in the series. This book seemed to bring the first two books together. Loved the simple message of the outward world reflecting the evil or good within. Definitely worth reading. 4 stars8/25
11/2514) Senses Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder
Loved this book!
20) Emotion How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern
