Highly recommended!

One of my choices in the humour genre. I didn't like it. Only gave it 1 star. I struggled with this for months, but made a commitment to finish it and I did. Hopefully my next choice is much better.

Review tomorrow:)

On this and other threads in Aussie Readers, I have stated that I am interested to revisit and re-read some of the classic books of my youth and early adulthood - a bit of a nostalgia trip if you like. As part of the Australian Authors Challenge, I elected to refresh my knowledge of a well-known and very successful play of the 1970s, Dimboola by prominent Melbourne playwright of the era, part of the legendary Pram Factory collective, Jack Hibberd.
Wow, was I disappointed. Couldn't recommend this play to anyone to read. Grudgingly I've given it one star, simply for its interest as an historical artefact.
Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Thanks Brenda. I'll just have to be more careful in what I choose from that genre in future.
