This one came up searching online:Pretty Little Werewolf by Katie Salidas. It was published in 2015.

- Read around 5 years ago, give it take a couple.
- May have been a series, but I can’t remember anything pointing to that.
- would likely be iBook, but possibly kindle
Plot
- teen girl is in a new foster/adoption home with a new family
- they all seem fine and happy, but she’s holding back cause she’s a shifter/wolf
- at least two other teen girls there who are possibly adopted too. I can’t remember any ‘brothers’, but there may have been more kids, male or female.
Two main scenes I remember... spoilers.
- she slips out the window on the night of the full moon because she ‘has’ to shift. She’s running in what makes me think is a desert area, but may just be sparse scrubby bush, and she hears other wolves call. I think she freaks a little as I’m pretty sure she’s never met another, and soon realises they are surrounding her. It’s the family she’s living with, and they end up running together. Later they explain they knew what she was, but thought it was best to wait until she could SEE, rather than try and convince her pre shift.
- another scene is the girls at the mall getting lunch and the MC orders huge crap burger and lots of junk. The other girls explain it’s because she’s not getting what she needs, so she’s craving all the crap and lots of it. One of them rings home to ask the ‘mother’ if they can have steak that night because the new girl obviously needs it.
