Heather, you are awesome! Good luck.Congratulations, Winter, for getting as far as you did!
Beth, you're super close. Do you think you'll be able to squeeze two more in?
Am now an emotional wreck having just finished Three-and-a-Half Heartbeats by Amanda Prowse, she is fast becoming one of my favourite authors - many tissues needed!47/52
Thank you! Really looking forward to having all the yearlies from the beginning next year, hoping to finish them then. This was probably my favorite. Or I SPY.
Thank goodness for the wild and wet weather in Cornwall, plenty of time for reading. Enjoyed a variation of Snow White Fawn Brown by Zoe McAuley, very well written - 4 books to go :)48/52
Z: A Zombie Christmas (Anthony Renfro) 25/26
Well............... I guess since I only need 1 more, it's time for me to request Mr. X from the library and hope I can read it by the 31st!

Wonder how many reads this book for Z.."
Ha! It's quick too!
Yeah, it was cute. And short. I gave it 3 stars but not sure if I'm going to change it to 2.. I usually give 3 stars when not sure what to think about the book.
Number 49 done - What Have I Done? by Amanda Prowse, considering I like her books this was disappointing. A Christmassy book next, nearly there......
49/52
Cassandra wrote: "Beth, you're super close. Do you think you'll be able to squeeze two more in?"Yes! I finished Gunnar's Daughter by Sigrid Undset tonight for my "U" last name author, and now only have one more to go. I think for 2016 I may be a little less crazy and not go whole hog with three separate groups. But thanks for letting me do that this year!
77/78
Winter wrote: "I didn't even know she had this book! (Undset). Embarassing :P"I didn't know about her at all until this challenge when I substituted this short book for a longer book by a different "U" author so I could read it by the end-of-year deadline. Glad I did - it was good!
Haha but I'm Norwegian, it's one of our most well known authors. Weird I haven't heard of this one. Her most well known work is Kristin Lavransdatter.
And... finished! (78/78)My final book was Soul Catcher by Frank Herbert, which I didn't care for. Oh well... it was a good challenge. :)
So, I had to read a book with V in the title, I chose Christmas in Vermont: A Very White Christmas - if it wasn't Christmas I would rate it 1 star, dear me - THE most predictable, sugary sweet drivel I've read all year. Take my advice - don't waste several hours of your life, eat maple syrup mixed with sugar and honey, same effect but quicker 50/52
And so, after reading The Illegal Gardener I am proud to say I have completed the A-Z challenge twice. This is amazing for me. Last year I read 10 books, I set myself 20, the raised my target to 26 for this year and have stunned myself by doubling that total - equating to one book a week.I am so pleased I found these challenge groups, they have changed my reading habit, opened up new authors to me and I have rediscovered my love of books.
Thank you for all the support and looking forward to 2016
