One thing about reading a book that lets you down, is you can go to a "re-read for comfort" book. I read one of my "deserted island" books for "EE."

This might be good for an XX: There's an X in the name of the author and it's been awhile since I read the 1st one, but I believe there is an Alexei in there: it's free today on Kindle: Author is also an RR. 
My team challenges are conspiring against me in getting to my EE book.
I have to say that EE is becoming a pain in the butt! I have a few books to choose from but for whatever reason I never want to read them.

Lol, actually that was my EE for last year :) and I listened to Ella Enchanted for this year. Next year... we'll see :)
I just came across another EE series: Ed Eagle by Stuart Woods.
I just did
as a re-read via audio and actually enjoyed it more the second time.I had
lined up, but I needed to read the book before it (it is #3 in the series).
BTW, I have a section on my bedroom bookshelf just for "Double Decker Challenge Books" to read.
