Yay! We are doing this for the third time, and going back in the other direction for this alliterations challenge in 2015. Be sure to check out our “New Option” for 2015 below.

DURATION : January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2015

RULES :

In Order
Travelling in order from A to Z this time around, read one book per letter where EITHER the author’s, or main character’s first and last name, or two words in the title, begin with the same letter.

Also, ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.), such as in the title
An Apple from Eve, by Betty Neels; this would NOT count.

In other words, the double letter has to be in the one place: the title, OR the series, OR the author, OR the character’s name. Not one of each.

Except for...

Quick Stops*
Last year there was six “quick stops” where Q, U, V, X, Y, and Z. Meaning we allowed the two letters to be taken ANYWHERE from within the title, main characters, series or author's name for these hard-to-find letters.


New Option for 2015: This year we are allowing you the choosing your six “quick stop” alliterated letters – all of your choosing – that you may find anywhere in the title, author’s name, series name, or character’s name. Please indicate with an asterisk which letter you are electing to make a “quick stop” option.
