RLftCI: Currently Reading 2015

The story itself is very interesting but I felt like I was reading a high school research paper...footnotes and all. The illustrations were good but that is about all I can say about it. There were actual letters in the book but from an e-reader POV they were very difficult to see to read. There were lots of mistakes one of the most annoying one was the author repeatedly stating that Memphis is in East TN. Well, NOOOOOOOOO Memphis, as long as I have lived here in TN, has always been in West TN. LOL so that really made me wonder how valid the other information/research in the book was accurate. I think this would have worked out much better as a work of fiction instead of non-fiction.

Anyway, the main characters from the two books are so different (besides gender) that it's probably good there are different narrators. Kate Reading does an amazing job.

LOL! I shouldn't laugh, but that's funny.

Thanks, Lara! You're right it makes sense to have two different narrators.

Let me know what you think of Claimed, I really like the series, which remind me I have to get back to it.

I am not sure I am enjoying it. The narrator isn't great. Liv is fighting Baird hard and he is being so nice. He even made her pizza!

The narrator can really make or break a book experience. Thanks for sharing that as I'm interested in working my way through that series as well. Although I agree that Liv is particularly hard headed, she does have some reason to be upset.

I read Always to Remember years ago and really liked it. Actually, I like most of Lorraine Heath's older western romances. Let us know what you think of it.

LOL! I shouldn't laugh, but that's funny."
LMAO I shouldn't have laughed either, but it is funny. I wonder how many actually caught that or even know that Memphis is in West TN. A good editor should have caught that mistake or maybe the editor thought Memphis was in East TN. LOL

1.What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know★★★★★ I really liked this book. I enjoyed this one more than the first :)
2.Texts from Jane Eyre: And Other Conversations with Your Favorite Literary Characters★★
3.The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog: And Other Stories from a Child Psychiatrist's Notebook--What Traumatized Children Can Teach Us About Loss, Love, and Healing★★★★
4.The Color of Love: A Mother's Choice in the Jim Crow South★★★★★ Another very enjoyable read

I really loved Off Campus and after reading it I wanted to read something similar that's why i'm reading Mark Cooper versus America which is really good so far.

I haven't read anything by Marie Force yet but her names pops everywhere . I should remedy that!

You should give her a try. Her fatal series is pretty good romantic suspense. I've also tried a couple of her standalone books which were good. I still have some of her contemporary romance series in my TBR pile.

That book started off wonderfully, but I didn't feel that the author fully redeemed the hero for something he did to the heroine. It was a case of the hero thinking the end justified the means and his repentance came too late for me. So I gave it a 3.5 star.
I loved how Lisa Kleypas redeemed Sebastian in

The book has started making sense !! I like it so far. This is my second book by her .And you're right I don't think I've ever seen an physical book from in a bookstore .

I'm planning to read [bookcover:The Secrets of Sir Richard Kenworthy|22046..."

Rosalyn Landor is the BEST. YES, the book was well written, well narrated. Again, it was an incident that left me cold towards the hero. When the book started off saying that Sir Richard Kenworthy HAD to find a bride and had to find one NOW...I just knew!

Good to know ,I might be able to get the audio from my library in a few months.

I finished

So cool! Glad you are enjoying the book too ;-)
