YA book I think its called "The Island"

I read this book when i was in 7th grade. 2004-2005.
A girl goes to an island where she finds out she's an heir. Her father who she never met was rich left her a lot of money. I think it's called "the island". If i remember correctly someone on the island is trying to kill her.
