I've got #2 to read as well, but have been meaning to anyway since I enjoyed #1.

I was like, nope, not requesting the third book in a series I haven't started.....then I looked and realised the author was born in Adelaide (where I live) and though, hmmm let me see. The library has both books 1 and 2 available now on audio and this one isn't published until 30 January - so I think I can do it!

Yes you can! And you’ll be glad you did. The audiobooks are great, and fairly short, too.

I said the same when I requested Chris Hammer's third book The Seven and hadn't read #1&2 and then ended up having to read them all this month. Totally worth it though!

Since A&U have been back on Netgalley I've requested a few titles, but they take so long to decide. I've withdrawn my requests a few times, as I don't want to be ambushed at the last minute.

I received my first book from Netgalley today. I'm new to writing reviews so not sure how I will go. I've recently gone off most social media and loving that I'm reading daily again. I'm reading a lot so why not offer others my opinion? They can take it or leave it.
Does anyone have any advice on expanding my followers now? After being hacked I've had to start a new account from fresh, not that I had a lot of followers before but I'm more invested now.

Thakns Marianne, I do like Catherine Ryan Hyde. I still have to read A Different Kind of Gone as it keeps getting pushed back for books publishing earlier - it's soon now though so it's nearly at the top of my list!

No, I missed the stand-alone and this one. Raven publishing didn't give anything beyond the generic "declined to allow access to the title at this time. Please take a look at our Profile Suggestions to have a better chance of approval in the future! " I'm at 92% so that can't be it:(
