Thank you so much for your review and words of encouragement.

This is my debut novel and it was self published. I have not had any publisher interest as yet, so I am printing 1,000 paperback copies by end July. After this I will write the sequel.

I would be very grateful if you could recommend it to other NetGalley people as I do not have the lists like publishing houses to invite fans of supernatural thrillers to look at it. Do you write a review blog?

Save Juhu Beach

There are places I’ll remember

All my life, though some have changed

Some forever, not for better –The Beatles

It was a ritual I had practised during my youth. I walked almost every day along Juhu beach. Perhaps it was the clean air or the fresh sea breeze or just a means to get away from the bustle. Back in the 80’s, it was the 231 bus from Santacruz for even the auto- rickshaws were out of the b...

The Devil's Prayer by Luke Gracias
“In the words of the Renaissance physicist and occultist Paracelsus, 'Sola dosis facit venenum', which means the dose makes the poison. Even oxygen and water, which are essential to all living creatures, are toxic if the dose is too high. And so it is with religion, too.”

Just incredible.

“You cannot hate someone if you have never loved them.”
Luke Gracias, The Devil's Prayer

“It is the prerogative of night, when thoughts, like relentless waves, break on the impressionable sands of the mind. Questions, theories, and suppositions come crashing ashore, and just like waves, they disappear into the grains of the mind without a trace. In this sea of uncertainty, stormed by nocturnal nightmares, the mind slips in and out of consciousness. It is the melting pot where logic and fantasy combine until supposition becomes hypothesis and hypothesis morphs into unsubstantiated fact.”
Luke Gracias, The Devil's Prayer

“The clear night, so distant from any light pollution, had summoned every star in the sky to shine.”
