I'm reading the Woman in the Window for the first time, I'm kind of nervous because of the mixed reviews but we'll see :)
I'm currently reading The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black! I'm loving this series! I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it at first. I'm also reading A Lesson In Thorns by Sierra Simone, which is a smutty romance lol. I'm only 20% through this one, but it's good so far.
I’m in a reading slump since the end of November. I’m hoping this will give me the push I need! Can’t wait to dive back in, I just need to find something that keeps my interest!
Currently reading:The Kind Worth Killing
I managed to read all the rest of Peter Swanson's books so I wanted to finish out his backlist. I'm enjoying it although a bit of a slower pace than I expected. I think so far his most recent release, Eight Perfect Murders, is still my favourite.
So far in January I’ve read:Heartstopper by Alice Oseman
Heartstopper vol 2 by Alice Oseman
A map of days by Ransom Riggs
Scythe by Neal Shusterman
Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
The Toll by Neal Shusterman
Carrie by Stephen King
Wilder Girls by Rory Power
I’m not sure what I want to start reading next. My TBR is never ending 🤦🏽♀️
I'm reading Les Fiancés de l'Hiver by Christelle Dabos.French is not my first language (and I'm not that fluent), so it's taking me longer than usual to finish this even though I'm enjoying it lol.
I’m reading two books right now, Sisterhood Everlasting by Anna Brashares & Crazy Rich Asians By Kevin Kwan!
I just started Horrorstör by Grady Hendrix. Can't speak for the story yet, but I'm in love with the book design!
I've nearly finished The Crossing Places by Elly Griffiths. I always like to read a series from the beginning and this book has introduced me to a new series with very likeable characters. The rest of the series is in my local library so will look forward to reading them
It's an exam season for me so I'm not reading a lot but I listen to Little Women audiobook in bus and before going to sleep. It's a reread for me, new movie made me wanna revisit the story and finally read the second part - Good Wives
Currently reading The Chalk Man and listening to Where the Crawdads Sing. Chalk Man is giving off IT by Stephen King vibes so I’m interested how this book ends. Really struggling to like Crawdads though.
I'm currently reading:A study in scarlet
Peter Pan
I'll be gone in the dark
Wayward son
and i started The other people
I have just finished City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare, the second book in the mortal instruments series. I've never read these books before but they are amazing! just about to read Little Women as like to mix it up a bit.
Juuuust finished From the Ashes by Jesse Thistle, from the Canada Reads shortlist (5 stars!). As soon as I recover emotionally I'm picking up The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai,
Reading several books right now but my primary focus is Homeland by R.A. Salvatore and The Party by Robyn Harding.
I'm currently reading The Death of Mrs Westaway by Ruth Ware, completely because of Kayla's love of this author. When i saw it in the library i knew i had to give it a go.
Just about to start The House Swap. Didn’t really plan any more reading in January so now just picking random books off my shelf.
Kelly wrote: "Things You Save in a Fire - so far I am enjoying it!"This is one sitting on my shelf I need to get to 😁
Lauren wrote: "I’m currently reading Red White & Royal Blue.... not usually my type of book my the overwhelming amount of praise it’s gotten has me intrigued. Only 20 pages in and I’m worried 😂"Hope you like it. Not my kind of read but.....lots live it
Chelice wrote: "Just about to start The Wife Between Us. Have been meaning to get to it for a while and finished my January TBR so thought I would throw it in at the end."Oh I hope you enjoy
Currently reading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott! Reading it for the first time so I can watch the movie :) I heard tons of good things about both of them, so I'm really excited to finish the book! So far, so good
I'm rereading the Diviners - well, listening to on audio. The audio book is amazing. I want to have read all 3 before the last book comes out in Feb.I actually don't have a physical book that I'm reading at the mo, just an ebook. I'm reading I'll be Gone in the Dark. It's about the Golden State Killer and is fascinating.
I'm reading Dear Edward by ann Napolitano. It's for a Barnes and noble book club reading. It deals with survivors' guilt, a plane crash, and grief. Its something I would have never thought to pick up but its actually really good so far.
I’m in the middle of Starless by Jacqueline Carey. It’s really good so far and I’m loving how she’s playing with the ideas around gender and nature/nurture.
I am currently reading Aftercare Instructions by Bonnie Pipkin and I am undecided on whether I’m enjoying it or not lol.
