message 51: by Madeline (new)

Madeline Kaa | 2 comments I just finished My Lovely Wife last night! I zoomed through it in about 3 days, the only reason I really put in down was for my puppy haha. It was SO good, really suspenseful, and had me so anxious that each time I read a little more I was explaining it to my mum so that I had someone to tell.

Jennie (moosecreekbooknook) | 4 comments Pamela wrote: "Jennie, is this your first reading of Wheel of Time?"

Yes. I Bought the first one when it came out and was going through a time when I hated waiting for the next books in a series, especially with big fantasy books where it felt like a really long wait. I decided to wait to read them until they were all out, to avoid having to constantly re-read when I'd forgotten things and now I've got a lot of huge fantasy series on my shelf that have been there forever. My goal this year is to work through some of them.

message 99: by Shayla (new)

Shayla (buttercup525) | 5 comments I'm currently reading:

*Little Women (I started it before Kayla's video, but now I can't watch her video til I finish it! lol.)
*Quidditch Through the Ages (Part of my HP Reread for the year)
*Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli (first time)

And I'm trying to listen to the audio book of The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton, but I'm just not feeling the first chapter as I find it hard to follow. Not sure if it's just the story or if I need to just try again (maybe it was a bad day?) or pick up a physical copy.
