I see no reason why we can't use the book. It has a ASIN number, so it exists officially:)

Honestly, we don't really have a problem with any letter/number right now. If you want you can find titles that can somehow be used for our story about a tea party. For instance, some type of baked goods. Keep in mind though that we have to use the title in the language that you read!

Afternoon Tea at the Sunflower Café by Milly Johnson Wedding Cake Crumble (Cupcake Bakery Mystery, #10) by Jenn McKinlay and just for the word to use, I have also added Hereafter (Hereafter, #1) by Tara Hudson . Hope we can use, but it’s ok, if we don’t.

It just needs to be party themed.

Unfortunately, I have had no time to work on it, because I've been super busy writing my MSc thesis.

Anne (dagdvm) | 441 comments Here is one attempt :

THE LAST tea party we held was on a STARLIT NIGHT and it was full of GOOD OMENS. THE WAR OF THE WORLDS had just ceased and, in a LUCKY BREAK, the pandemic was UNRAVELING.
We invited all our friends, including THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO. They were in SEVENTH HEAVEN - like SOULS REBORN. SIMON made his famous WEDDING CAKE CRUMBLE, which is a DECADENT WAY TO DIE. By the end we were all HAMMERED and THE TIGER’S WIFE passed out. Therefore we decided that HEREAFTER we will only serve tea at our “tea” parties!

Happy Reading!

~ Team Pioneer Profiteroles

Pioneer Profiteroles - New Wave Upside Down Cake Fleet Entry Log: year one hundred and sixty-five A.D.L.

It had been three days since we breached Tallowwood’s lethal barrier, when we intercepted the Angel Halo, a battle-carrier vessel. The transport was part of Captain Kristel’s New Wave Upside Down Cake’s fleet. The captain was known to be merciless with a penchant for sweets. Angel’s Halo distress call was from Officer LaurLa, guardian of the Forsaken. The Forsaken were a group of cast offs, girls with no names, that Captain Kristel rescued from Jon’s sadistic rule on Island Affair and trained as mercenaries.

Captain Windemere opened a secure connection line and discovered one of Angel Halo’s plasma fuel reactors was damaged during their latest battle with Franziska, the dead witch. They were able to escape with their vessel intact before it failed, but they are stranded to float adrift waiting for repair material. Expected receipt of materials eighteen hours. The Captain, not wanting to leave Angel Halo vulnerable for that length of time, sent a small crew to assist.

Upon arrival, Rafe and Ren were immediately guided to the reactor, while the rest of us were sent to the Blackbird suite for a little “Tea” party. This was not the typical tea party like before the devil’s hour, with fine china and frills. No, this party consisted of makeshift metal tumblers, made from old soup cans, and loose-leaf tea, drowned in whiskey. When we entered the gathering, the first person I spotted was my old friend Vin sitting at LaurLa's right and picking at a muffin top. He had fallen in love with her at first sight and immediately defected to her station. Captain Windemere hadn’t fought the transfer, but I suspect his reasons go back to Captain Kristel. I’m not one to gossip, like Rafe and Ren, but rumor has it that they once had a heated affair that hadn’t ended amicably.

I hadn't let my thoughts linger on the captain’s as I surveyed the room. Vin waved me over, and I took the seat next to my old friend. Their seated location was ideal; it let me surveillance most of the area. Although I knew there was no threat to fear in this room, it was hard to shut-off my hyper awareness. Vin somewhat pulled my attention back to the table when he slammed downed a shot and passed two-fingers of the potent concoction over to me. I knocked it back and barely managed to suppress my grimace as I tried to unwind. He had just handed me another shot when I noticed Natasha in the far corner. Her eyes pulled into slits, and the last thing I remembered that night was holding the Huntress of Demons eyes as I downed the pungent cocktail.

Deanna | 646 comments Hi Team New Wave Upside Down Cake,

We choose your recipe for the April mini-challenge. Hope your enjoy our tea party story.

Deanna

Seeing A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Space Between Worlds was amazing, but I'm so thankful the last round of Counter Ops was successful so that it was possible to return to Earth without extending our Five year mission. We've just arrived in a resort located in the Heart of Paradise to enjoy New Wave Upside Down Cake at a welcome home tea party for all of our crew and their families. Hope peeks out at the crowd and decides to come out from her Hiding Place behind my wife and I, mesmerized by the cascading waterfall on the far wall. Over the soothing sounds of Falling water, the warm tones of Amina's Voice float across the room over the quiet chatter of the guests. Everyone is discussing their plans for their upcoming leave. In my case, I'm looking forward to flying up to Minnesota for a vacation of cross country skiing in the Woods surrounding our cabin. My wife and Hope want to spend at least one Snowy Night drinking Mocha and eating Donuts by a crackling fire. As long as I avoid my tendency to Overthink It, we should have a great time relaxing and reconnecting as a family after all the stresses of the last mission.
