Kamaria (bonniegealach) | 83 comments I'm done with A Reaper At The Gates,
And The Five People You Meet In Heaven.
I'll just edit and add it to my previous post.

Anubha (BooksFullOfLife, LifeFullOfBooks) (anubhaghoshal) Please inform how many cards are left to be read after updating, thanks!

Cinthia (cinthiah) | 308 comments Right now the only slots left are a Wild Draw 4 which is being taken care of by BarbaraAnn, and a Skip. I'll be finishing a book later today so can add that to the skip, so we're all set.

Nice job, team! I wasn't sure we'd be able to make it without using some of UnoPixie's book, but we did it!

If you finish a book you can still add it to the spreadsheet (just title, author and finish date is fine) in case we need to swap something while writing the story. Any one want to try to write it?

Tiffany Oiney_Reads_Another (oiney_reads_another) | 66 comments What should our story line be? If I have a subject, I can usually come up with something.

Cinthia (cinthiah) | 308 comments I think it's something about having a tea party, using that recipe and how it went. We have the 15 books listed, but there are others that have been finished since then if you need to change words. I think I had to switch one book last time because I couldn't get it to fit.

Okay, I'll see if I can get something to flow out! Space themed tea party summary, using the words from the titles, and incorporating the recipe?

message 209: by Cinthia (new)

Cinthia (cinthiah) | 308 comments You don't have to incorporate the recipe. Just mentioning it as the thing being served should be fine. :)

Anubha (BooksFullOfLife, LifeFullOfBooks) (anubhaghoshal) So can I add a book I just finished in case u need extras?

Tiffany Oiney_Reads_Another (oiney_reads_another) | 66 comments Here is our story for the April Mini Challenge!!

Space Log, April 2020
PEOPLE, and other beings, arrived in droves. We admitted not a single creature that couldn't produce their invite. You can never be too careful when hosting the biggest Space Tea Party this side of the milky way! (It's such a huge honour to be chosen as host Space HOUSE!) There are some pretty shady creatures trying to sneak into these events, mostly drawn to the "MAGIC" that is the pretty men, WOMEN and other that grace us with their presence during these parties. Those who were invited were meant to have burned their invites, so that the MAPS on the back wouldn't end up in the wrong hands, but it's pretty clear from our number of undesirables loitering about that nobody even read those instructions! Whoever hosts next year might want to consider including instructions in picture FORM, to help out the duds from this go around.
But enough about that, back to the party!
Our team had nailed this Space Tea Party, and I was super proud of our little groups efforts! The treats table was the focus of all our hard work, and it was SET to perfection. We had our VanGuard Sabayon, obviously, since it was the FOUNDATION treat of our gathering. BarbaraAnn and Cinthia had slaved for ages removing the pulp from hundreds of passion fruit! Amar arrived just minutes before our guests, having just fought tooth and nail for the last packages of SILVER and GOLD plates at the Twinklemart, which I had shamefully forgotten the day before. Denise and Elizabeth had to frantically rebuild the Interplanetary Biscotti MOUNTAIN, which had been sent sprawling when one of our servers bumped the table with their 9th tentacle. Anubha had the pleasure of throwing open the gates, to usher our already checked in guests through, and begin the fun! All our friends brought along some treats too! AMONG our prepared goodies on the table, our guests added the famous Sector 62 Astronaut Pie, the delightful Moonwalker Madeleines, and the to die for Science Brioche! Needless to say, our guests did not leave hungry, or thirsty for that matter....
Everything went off without a hitch, except that one guest refused to stop BITING desserts and putting them back on the trays! That's the last time we let anyone have 3 of our signature party DRINK, the Cosmonaut! Too much Grey Goose would have the best of us in DANGER of commiting a few party faux pas, so I suppose they can be forgiven, this time anyways!
What a great time we all had! I can't wait to see who gets the honour of hosting next years Space Tea Party!
End Log
