thanks for all your work! lots of books this year. I'm glad I don't have to read the Mortal Instruments or the Gabaldon series. But, I will read all the rest (apart from the ones I've already read). :D Hah! I'm happy!!
ALREADY?!!!I soooo wanted to ask when we'd see this list, but I didn't want to be an impatient ass :P
Amazing job getting this list to us so quickly!
Oh my! It's going to be a great year. I hope I'll be able to participate more than this year that I was more of an outside watcher.
Just read the Gabaldon 8 this summer. But it's been Decades since I read any Ann Rice so I may need to alter my Individual 2015 Challenge. Only read Mortal Instruments #1 so good incentive to complete the series.

Yeah, now that I've got the group calender out of the way and the awards list I can now start looking at my own bookshelf! :)

I think this just might light the fire under my ass to watch Firefly. I've totally been meaning to get to it. :)

I bloody love Firefly and I think I may be re-watching it again before the series read. Have you watched it before Valerie?

I was just going through my "real" books (the huge pile inside my closet that is mostly still unread) and I found an obviously well-read copy of "A breath of Snow and Ashes" (of which I have a very faint recollection) and a clearly never touched copy of "An echo in the bone". So, I'm wondering if I ever read that after all?? I couldn't give you a summary for sure .. so maybe that's why I had such a hard time getting into the newest book?Anyways .. so I'm going to join that series read in November and see if it seems familiar after a while or not. But, I'm definitely going to donate the hardcover to the library and rent the ebook version from them instead. I'd have to start lifting weights if I wanted to be able to read that book!!!
A lot of books I want to read on that list (or lists?). SO many series...I'll try to read some, thanks for putting this together.
This will be my first time participating in the challenge and I have a question. I plan on reading The Mortal Instruments series. Only the last one should be put on my shelf and counts toward the challenge, correct? P.S. Lynn, you're awesome at what you do here. I was anxious to see the calendar so I could start keeping my eye out for books for January, but I didn't really think it would be up so quick!

Hi Maggieoh - yes, only the winners and nominees count towards the challenge, not the rest of the series.

Thanks everyone.
I have to admit that by then end of putting the calender and list together my eyes and brain were tired and fuzzy. I was determined however to get them done as quickly as possible, I'm a fan of knowing what's happening at the beginning of the month, for the next month (if that makes sense).

I have created a spreadsheet with the monthly selections listed out. I love having the calendar early so I can read ahead if I want to. :)

Even though I know a lot of people weren't too happy about Landline winning, I'm looking forward to reading & discussing it in January!
