and pretty much whatever you read can fit somewhere,

the colors are just a tad more restricting

I played UNO before but took arest from challenges last year.

We had so many colour cards, I got to the point I went to the library, went to the corresponding last name, and chose solely based on the colour of the cover lol.

Kelly, I'm pretty sure each team gets the same amount of coloured cards (; some are just easier to find than others :D

That is me at the moment, I keep looking at my stack of books and saying NOPE you are yellow better wait,

and since I have 3 yellow on my shelf to read my luck will be no yellow and all blue ( which I dont have )

Glad to see I'm not the only one already looking for color covers. I started a spreadsheet listing my options already on my TBR. I even found a few for the elusive Yellow 5 and 8!

Ahhh I cant believe Uno is about to start! I participated a few years back.. I was then away from goodreads for a while, focusing on finishing my degree and starting to work.. and goodreads(and reading :( ) just slowly dissapeared for my life.
Lately I have started reading again, been fond of non fiction books lately which is a change from what I usually read and decided to come back to goodreads. Im excited to participate I think this will be perfect for me to continue to get back into reading and GR. I remember LOVING Uno when I participated.

Hey there, my name’s Sisa and this will be my second year playing UNO. I actually deleted my Goodreads account last year, and then I remembered UNO and made one literally to play this game. That’s how much fun last year was! (Team Nancy Drew woot woot!) So my profile looks pretty empty, but I love to read and I don’t discriminate against any genres. I read it all and I’m so excited for the games to begin! :P

Hi all, I'm really looking forward to this year's Uno. This will be my fourth or fifth year (I've totally lost track). Last year my team were plagued by yellow 7s and 9s so I'm crossing everything for a better draw this year.

I read pretty much everything but currently working my way through the third Diviners book. I'm hoping to get some of the bigger books on my tbr out of the way before the challenge starts.

📕 Have you joined UNO before? - I played once before (the last time it was held). I think UNO may be my favorite challenge that I have participated in.

📕 Favourite genres - I love mystery, psychological thrillers, literary fiction, and Nordic Noir.

A sign up announcement will go out tomorrow (14th), but here are the details for you all early.

Please remember to read the rules and commit to the challenge for 3 months. That is Feb 1 - April 30. You will need to be active on goodreads at least once per week during this period.




Fill out this SIGN UP FORM with a few details and we will start assigning teams the second last week of January. You will need to "check in" to your team thread by January 26 or you will be replaced
If you have problems with the form, please let us know.

Your sign up will get flagged and you will not be placed in a team unless you message us first.

◈ Every month when the team gets their monthly UNO hands the Captain will need to work with the team to create a plan for how to read the hands. We will provide you with a spreadsheet to complete.
◈ We would expect the captains to track the teams books
◈ At the end of each month the Captain will need to check their teams books are marked as "read" and meet the page counts and submit their team's info to the moderator to have points confirmed

I signed up. I had a hard time deciding what to put for book average. I'm behind so far this year. But I tend to ramp up my reading for team challenges.
