A favourite author is Aussie Sulari Gentill. I love her historical mystery series, and this episode, Gentlemen Formerly Dressed, is a treat! Rowland and his mates are in 1930s London, trying to elude the Nazis. It's a great mix of high and low society, politics, and murder in pre-war England.

All kids love dinosaurs, but not all dinosaurs love each other! I Will Never Forget You by Tatsuya Miyanishi is a children's picture book about a Tyrannosaurus and a little potential "lunch" who become friends.

Homeward Bound, the debut novel from British author, Richard Smith is a wonderful, heart-warming read. The music nostalgia can be indulged with the author's Spotify list, and the Simon and Garfunkel earworm won't be the worst one you'll ever have :)5★s

Sorry to add to your problems 'me' but your link for your review is wrong it goes to the book and not your review. Your review can be found at this address.

I've also been reading The Finders by Jeffrey B. Burton this week - it's a great read! Good for lovers of serial killer thrillers; fantastic if you also love animals. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished
by Randolph StowI am probably really late to this party, but I have never read anything by this author before. Didn't even really know who he was when I came across this book on a $1 table. I think this is the best book I have read all year. The writing is practically flawless and I am completely impressed.

Since hubby bought me a set of bluetooth earphones, I've been really enjoying listening to audiobooks on my phone (thanks Wollongong City Library and Borrowbox). This, effectively my third reading of Derek B. Miller's brilliant debut novel, Norwegian by Night, is wonderfully read by Sean Mangan, and had me laughing out loud in places where I'm sure I didn't when reading the print version. But also brought me to tears with the last few lines.Of course 5★s again

I recently read Missing William Tyrrell by Aussie investigative journalist and author Caroline Overington. It's a thorough, sensitive look at the puzzling and ongoing case of three-year-old William's sudden disappearance in 2014.

What's not to like about a selection of chapters from upcoming books? Publishers Lunch puts out a series of previews which I always look forward to, and Buzz Books 2020: Fall/Winter is as good as ever. Something for everyone, including non-fiction.

(sorry Veronica)While the characters in American author, Gregory Sterner's debut novel, Solving Cadence Moore may have been unappealing, the plot was good. Unfortunately the execution was excessively wordy and tested the limits of my patience. I found myself skimming and exhorting the author, out loud, to "just get on with it!"
3★s for the plot

I've had two very different but brilliant 5 star reads in one day. Doesn't happen very often, so it's worth noting :DThis 5 star read was published in 2014 about a Pandemic. Beautifully written.

Spindle City by Jotham Burrello was an interesting family saga set in a Massachusetts cotton manufacturing town in the 1900s.my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm so glad I suggested that Wollongong City Libraries purchase the Jane Doe series by Victoria Helen Stone. The second book, Problem Child is deliciously dark and laugh-out-loud funny, easily as good as the first.5★s
