PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments A favourite author is Aussie Sulari Gentill. I love her historical mystery series, and this episode, Gentlemen Formerly Dressed, is a treat! Rowland and his mates are in 1930s London, trying to elude the Nazis. It's a great mix of high and low society, politics, and murder in pre-war England.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Homeward Bound, the debut novel from British author, Richard Smith is a wonderful, heart-warming read. The music nostalgia can be indulged with the author's Spotify list, and the Simon and Garfunkel earworm won't be the worst one you'll ever have :)

Sorry to add to your problems 'me' but your link for your review is wrong it goes to the book and not your review. Your review can be found at this address.
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

To do this once you have written your review and saved your post go to the top left corner of your screen and you will see a link like the one I have copied above. Highlight and copy this address. Now when you write your comments to the group just paste the address at the bottom of the comment.
Hope that this is a help. If you still have problems anyone in the group will be pleased to help, including myself. Glad to have you on board always nice to meet new members.

I am probably really late to this party, but I have never read anything by this author before. Didn't even really know who he was when I came across this book on a $1 table. I think this is the best book I have read all year. The writing is practically flawless and I am completely impressed.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments Since hubby bought me a set of bluetooth earphones, I've been really enjoying listening to audiobooks on my phone (thanks Wollongong City Library and Borrowbox). This, effectively my third reading of Derek B. Miller's brilliant debut novel, Norwegian by Night, is wonderfully read by Sean Mangan, and had me laughing out loud in places where I'm sure I didn't when reading the print version. But also brought me to tears with the last few lines.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments (sorry Veronica)
While the characters in American author, Gregory Sterner's debut novel, Solving Cadence Moore may have been unappealing, the plot was good. Unfortunately the execution was excessively wordy and tested the limits of my patience. I found myself skimming and exhorting the author, out loud, to "just get on with it!"
3★s for the plot
