50.1 - Teri-K's task: Let's Start the New Year Off Right

(view spoiler)

2. Countrymen: The Untold Story of How Denmark's Jews Escaped the Nazis by Bo Lidegaard is a translated work. I couldn't use it for task 25.2, however, because Danish is not one of the languages given as an option.

3. The Pearl that Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi is a 2014 Goodreads Fiction Nominee. This is not a re-read.
***Goodreads Author***

5. Delusions of Gender: How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference by Cordelia Fine (Not a reread)
Resolved: To understand diversity better. This includes gender and sex differences, which this book covers.

15.1 Returns and Exchanges

Neither book is a reread for me.

Book 1 - Choose a book that you have read and rated 4 or 5 stars. Read a different book by the same author. The book may be an anthology or collection with multiple authors.

Buried Secrets, Leighann Dobbs
MMPB reference edition: Buried Secrets by Leighann Dobbs

I discovered Leighann Dobbs in May 2014 through an “Customers who bought xxx also bought yyy” on Amazon. The first book I read of hers was Ghostly Paws which is my 4-star book. My two favourite series of hers are Mystic Notch and the Blackmore Sisters. Buried Secrets is the fourth in the Blackmore series.

Goodreads Author: Yes. Leighann Dobbs is a Goodreads author
Big Book: No

Book 2 - Choose a book that you read and rated 4 or 5 stars. From that book’s main page navigate to “Readers Also Enjoyed”

Kneading to Die, Liz Mugavero
Read the kindle edition. MMPB Reference: Kneading to Die (Pawsitively Organic Mystery #1) by Liz Mugavero
Found it on 12/02/15 on https://www.goodreads.com/book/simila... having reached it from https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... which I gave four stars to in January 2013.

Goodreads Author: Yes. Liz Mugavero is a Goodreads author

Book One: Read a book different book by a author that I'd previously rated 4/5 stars.

I read Think Like a Freak by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen Dubner. I'd previously read Freakonomics by the same pair (who are also Goodreads Authors).

Book Two: Read a "Readers Also Enjoyed" book.
I read A Deadly Wandering: A Tale of Tragedy and Redemption in the Age of Attention by Matt Richtel. On December 31, 2014, I found this book by starting at The Invisible Front: Love and Loss in an Era of Endless War.
