50.1 - Teri-K's task: Let's Start the New Year Off Right

1) Close, But Not Quite - While picking books for this challenge there were several times when I found the perfect book for a task - only to realize it didn't quite work after all. Perhaps the spelling wasn't correct, or the cover's color wasn't quite right, or it didn't meet the task's required word count. If that happened to you, don't despair, you can use that book here! Read a book you wanted to read for this challenge but that didn't quite fit the requirements for the task. The book must fit most of the parameters of the task, but miss by one detail. (The book must still fit the general SRC challenge rules.) If you haven't had any books like that, then find one that almost works for a task, but not quite, and read it. You can use the help threads rejected books for ideas.

I discovered Leighann Dobbs in May 2014 through an “Customers who bought xxx also bought yyy” on Amazon. The first book I read of hers was Ghostly Paws which is my 4-star book. My two favourite series of hers are Mystic Notch and the Blackmore Sisters. Buried Secrets is the fourth in the Blackmore series.
