Finished
. It was great but I unfortunately can't count it for my tbr challenge cause it was an ARC and it just came out this month 🤷♀️

In October I read 3 books... which seems to be the average nowadays. But I did read about 250 pages more than last month.
All 3 were part of a series. No series were started or finished this month.
All 3 were by authors I've read previously.
1 was an ARC and the other 2 were finished copies.
One was a 2-star read, another a 4-star, and the last was 5 stars.
2 were YA for sure and the 3rd could be either YA or NA... I'm not sure 😅
2 were mystery/thrillers, and the the 3rd was historical fiction also with a bit of mystery.

Thanks! Yeah, although looking at my stats for the year, I started 11 series so far this year and only finished 8. But that's no surprise... I am notoriously bad at finishing series 😂
It's been a crazy year Lili. Understandable that you haven't read much. It's happened to a lot of us.
Yeah, hopefully! Last month was particularly awful. But yesterday I read one book and today I started another, so we'll see! 🤞
Finished
which makes it book 37/60 in my tbr mountain challenge. I probably wont make it, but I'd be okay with reading 40 this year.

😅 Last year I read 50 books off my tbr, so that's why I thought this year I'd read more, but nope! Lol. But at least it's something. How many have you gotten off your tbr?
I only count books I have owned since prior to start of the year, and only hardcopy ones as those are what I had wanted to try and clean up. Yeah, I'm only at 11 this year!
Hoping to go back and make this a priority next year. But I read so much from the library on ebook and I listen to a lot as well so haven't been doing so great on my physical books lately.

Oh I see. That's not bad though! My tbr challenge is very similar, except I included both hardcopies and ebooks. Checking my stats, I've read 32 hardcover/paperback and only 5 ebooks, so I'm quite the opposite! Lol.

I'm halfway through the series and so far not getting the hype!
In December I ended up reading 4 books. I started 0 series and finished 1!
No ARCs this month. 1 hardcover and 3 paperback.
1 was a library book and the other 3 I bought myself.
All 4 books were 3-star reads *sigh* And all 4 were YA.
2 were mystery/thrillers, and 2 were historical fiction (because I refuse to call the SJTR series mystery/thriller!)

As for my yearly stats, my blog post just went up and it has graphs and everything! https://lili-lost-in-a-book.blogspot....
Here are a couple of those stats though:
I read 52 books, 1 novella, 1 graphic novel, and 1 omnibus. And this year I only re-read 1 book.
I read 36 physical copies, 19 ebooks, and 1 audbiobook/ebook combo.
Most books (36) I bought myself, and in second place were library books (6), and books I got as a gift (6).
43 of the books I read were part of a series, and 12 were standalones. This one was surprising because last year I didn't read nearly as many standalones!
I started 11 series and only finished 9 🙈😂
