What Have You Read - 2020
Sweetheart, Sweetheart A big disappointment. I found the reactions of the characters extremely unreasonable and random incindents were taking place just for the sake of plot.

That one surprised me, too!"
It reminded me a lot of The Fault in Our Stars which I also liked.
Spyros wrote: "Sweetheart, Sweetheart A big disappointment. I found the reactions of the characters extremely unreasonable and random incindents were taking place just for the sake of plot."No, no, no no no. The correct answer is that it ROCKED!
(Just joking! Bummed that you didn't like it though.)
Alec wrote: "Just finished Negative Space by BR Yeager. Quite an enjoyable trip. Anyone else finished this one?"Not me, Alec.
Just finished Hunter Shea Misfits
which shows again why the author is King f the Cryptids! Suspense, adventure, horror and heart in one irresistable book
Coldheart Canyon: A Hollywood Ghost Story
A wonderful horror/dark fantasy story combined with a classic Hollywood novel. Pure catnip to me. I loved it.
I finished
and enjoyed it very much - snarky, funny, paranormal - great UF. Read the first 2 and enjoyed them muchly :-)I've just started
. I've read every book in the origianl series and they really hooked me.

also, just finished
Told my wife about this one, and just because of the synopsis she decided to 'buddy' read it and we both ended up finishing in just a couple of days. Although it turned into almost a 2nd book towards the end and felt a little unnecessary (or should have been used in a second installment) but nonetheless a really interesting one the wife had lots to say as you can imagine haha!
Erin wrote: "Wow, that's a lot! LOL"Yeah I know and the year isn't over yet! LOL I am literally swamped this month as well so I guess I will go out with a bang! LOL :-)
The Dragons of Kilauea by Russell James
the second in the author's National Park Rangers Kathy West series. Another great adventure novella from Russell James, this time set in Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park where long-slumbering dragons have awakened - and they're hungry. A quick and highly entertaining read.
Amanda wrote: "I got a few books from the library that were very good. I really enjoyed Devolution.

I read and loved all three of those!

Erin wrote: "The HostI think it would have been that much better if the novel was shortened a bit."
I agree Erin. It had some good parts but there was too much

Maybe I can understand why the sequels were never written.
