10.5. Thanksgiving is November 26th

I have to say, I started out with thinking I will say that I am so grateful for my best friends, but after reading this book, I am glad that I don't have friends like these! What an interesting story this was, especially when it all came together in the last chapter (I LOVE when that happens!).

5.6. Because I Said So

Thank You for recommending this book (I forget where I found it, so if it is on your read list and you recommended it, thank you!)!

I only wish that they had books like this one when I was growing up. I hope to one day share these books with my children and share the importance of being yourself at all times and not conforming to the social norm just because.

5.2 Author(s) of the Month

I finished this audio book last week, but I didn't realize it qualified for this challenge until I was looking through the tasks and read this one.

I audio booked this one mostly on my way to and from work. I enjoyed it. It is not a heavy read like my previous audio book, so it was pretty easy to start and stop without missing too much.

Nora writes about everything from living in NYC and falling in love with your apartment to where to find the best Hungarian cabbage strudel.

15.1 I Have Two Names

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I worked the past 6 days straight (they were short staffed at my job around the Holiday, so I picked up some OT). I finally had a day off yesterday, and I got some Christmas Shopping done.

I was originally going to read this one for the parenting task, but when I finished it I realized that it was first printed in the UK under a different name!

I really enjoyed this one and I realized that another of her books The Accidental Mother could work for another task!

5.10 Club Picks

M/T (Mystery/Thriller) Reading Friends Group Pick

I started audio booking this one with my husband on one of our trips to South Jersey the weekend before Thanksgiving, and I found that I really wanted to know how it ended, so I borrowed it from him and finished it on my way to/from work.

I normally don't read mystery/thriller books, I tend to like stories that have happy endings. So this book surprised me. I actually somewhat enjoyed it.

I would definitely recommend this one as an audio book for a long car trip.

I love how she says stuff in French all the time. (she also mentions German words a lot, but I don't know any German). I like to throw in French words when I think too. haha. That sounds pretty lame, huh?! ;)

No....fabity fab is my new favorite saying. When I use it my husband looks at me the way I picture Georgia's teachers look at her. I don't know french but I think I can guess some of the meanings. Libby cracks me up too, I think she is hysterical "Bad Ginger!!"
