Ohh, I wanna try Anna Karenina too!!!

I'd like to buddy read it! It'll be like in Northanger Abbey when Catherine read it with her friend and always told everyone about how exciting and absolutely horrifying this book is :)

I'm open to any month for these books. I also don't mind..."
Hi.
I've never heard of Dacre's book, but it looks very interesting, so count me in if you really want to start reading it.
I've read Genji, and I can recommend it to anyone. I don't think it will take you so much time, though, if you like psychology. I read it in two weeks, even though it doesn't have very much of a plot. What it says about society and the human soul is fascinating.

Is there anyone who wants to join me? You can also read Rabelais in any other language. :) Or you can even say you only want to read one book or two books of the five, why not? I'm fine with all such possiblities. Just don't leave me alone please. :)

I'm planning on reading Pride and Prejudice and would love to buddy read it if you'd be inte..."
Hi! I'm also planning on reading Pride and Prejudice next year! My book is already ready to be opened. Count me in for the buddy read if it happens! 😊

I had not heard of Zofloya: or The Moor either until I came across it on youtube. I don't remember whose channel it was who read it off the top of my head. I do want to read it this year. I'm probably going to wait until later in the year to read it though. I have a lot of reading planned for January already. Is there a month you may want to read it in?

I'd like to start my year with Gargantua and Pantagruel, or else I won't finish it in 2020 either. For me, everything comes after that, and it will take a long time. For you, I guess Genji will be the priority, which is about the same in length. So why not start Zofloya after both of us have finished? Some time around June or July?

I’m interested in The Trumpet Major as I’m slowly working through all of Hardy.

- The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Wilde,
- A Tale of Two Cities, Dickens,
- To Kill a Mockingbird, Lee,
- The Grapes of Wrath, Steinbeck,
- The so..."
I’m planning on reading a tale of two cites!

I'd like to read The Portrait of Dorian Gray as well :)

I'm planning to read Little women this year as well so I'd love to join you :)
Does anyone want to read Middlemarch or The Picture of Dorian Gray with me? January or February, maybe?

I could be interested in reading Agnes Grey? That's not super long and I've already read The Tenant of Wildfell Hall :)

- Emma, J. Austen (mid-January)
- Wives and Daughters, E. Gaskell
- The Woodlanders, T. Hardy
Let me know if you'd like to join! x

Ooh I've been wanting to read 1984 for a while now! If you and maybe some others are up for a buddy read, let me know :)

I've been meaning to tackle Middlemarch for a while now, so I'm definitely game.

Wives and daughters - Elizabeth Gaskell
Moby Dick - Herman Melville (I LOVE his shorter works because he’s HILARIOUS but I’ve been scared to start Moby Dick because... well... it’s Moby Dick
The Way We Live Now - Antony Trollope
Lemme know

I really want to read Virginia Woolf this year. I haven't read any of her works so I am good whatever is chosen. There are 4 of us now that are interested. How about February?

I really want to read Virginia Woolf..."
I would like to join in too for reading Virginia woolf. Which book are we reading first? I have mrs dalloway and to the lighthouse by woolf.

I'd like to read Orlando very much, but I'm sure I'll be too busy to read it until spring (at least). If that's fine with you, I'll join. If not, I'll only be watching. :)

Anna Karenina
Crime and Punishment
The Woman in White

I'd love to reread either Anna Karenina or Crime & Punishment! Let me know if you end up choosing either

- The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Wilde,
- A Tale of Two Cities, Dickens,
- To Kill a Mockingbird, Lee,
- The Grapes of Wrath, Steinbeck,
- The so..."
I'm up for The Grapes of Wrath. East of Eden is one of my favourite books of all time and I really liked Of Mice & Men. It's been a while since I've read Steinbeck so I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting his work this year

Hi Jenny should we start a thread for To the Lighthouse for February and schedule Orlando for April? Another member wants to read Orlando but Feb is too early for them. Let me know. Thanks
