I highly recommend Boat People. I read this last year for a different prompt. Really interesting with different points of view. A good topic for today.
After going through the covers of the books I've read so far this year, I saw that Bitch Planet: Triple Feature, Vol. 1 fits the bill so that's what I'm using for this prompt.
Thank you for the instructions about posting a book cover....I have been wanting to know that for awhile!!
The Rip byMark Brandi
Halfway through AFTERLAND by Lauren Beukes. Has an upside down flower on the cover and is also pink. For fans of dystopian lit. In short, a virus has killed most of the world’s male population and the government is “ protecting” all male survivors. Cole is on the run with her twelve year old son, being pursued not only by the government, but by her sister and a badass group of black market semen searchers.
was recommended by a friend and will likely be my choice since it seems to be the only upside down image on my 'To Read' list and they have it at my library.
Just finished AFTERLAND. If you’re a fan of dystopia or want to read about a highly contagious virus that kills off Alitalia the men in the world, I recommend this one. It has an upside down flower on the cover.
Just finished listening to Deep State. Thank you to the person or persons that listed that book on this thread... I really enjoyed it!
I just finished The Boat People and I really enjoyed it. I was not aware of the Sri Lankan refugees that hit Canada. I loved the parallel story between the main character and the adjudicator on the case
I read Simon the Fiddler for this prompt.
I also read Drive which has a small upside down image. (I found it when I was looking for books with only words on the cover, but it has that tiny upside down man!)
ETA 12/31/2020: I'm using Simon the Fiddler for my Western so I'm using Drive as my upside down image. :)
