08 - A book with an upside-down image on the cover
sometime I lie by alice Feeney has an upside down face. I'm starting the challenge now and mixing it with my 2019 challenge lol
After some deliberation, I've decided Third Girl by Agatha Christie will work for me. This might not be upside down enough for some people, but I'm okay using it for this prompt.
Deep State by Chris Hauty has an upside-down cover. I have no idea if it will be good yet, but it's on my to-watch list.
I think I'm going to try and read:
It's a sequel so I'll have to see if the first book can fit anywhere. Other upside down images I found:

Edit: I do have it! Thank you for reminding me. I'll put it down as an alternate.

Thank you!! I actually found out the VE Schwab is only 32 now, so she was definitely in her 20s when the first two Shades of Magics books came out! Moving this to the advanced prompt!! And I've already bought the whole series, so I'm going to read them...I've heard so many great things!
It's a little bit a stretch, but that one key is upsidedown enough for me, since I was planing on reading this book next year anyways.
I found one book that I'm considering: In the Distance
by Hernán Díaz (I'm using the reflection as an upside down image. It sounds like it could also be a less traditional book for the Western prompt.

- most recent from Richard Russocurious for thoughts about this cover...
the legs are right-side up, but the image is actually reversed. if you turn the book upside down, that would be the actual photo, and it's been inverted for the cover; the water should be on the bottom of the cover, with the legs coming up out of the water in a handstand - toes pointing up.
it was the first book that came to mind for this prompt, but it's kind of a meta interpretation of the prompt. 😂
