HiI've just self-published my first novel, Each Little Universe, and set up an author page.
I'm Chris Durston and ELU is Each Little Universe. There's a paper attached to me about video games as art (Can video games be art?: A paper on the validity of gaming as a medium)- I would prefer it not to show up on my profile but I am in fact the author of that one, back when I was in school.
I'm definitely not the author, however, of The English Revolution. I believe that's by the author whose name is more usually given as Christopher Durston (Christopher Durston). No relation!
Would you be able to remove at least The English Revolution and possibly (but not as critically) the games paper too? Thanks!

Yes, it takes time for that page to update but if you click to your all books page it disappears immediately.Also you will notice it no longer said "Goodreads Author" next to your name on the book, indicating it has been moved.

It does take some time but I do not see it on your profile now. If you need to check it immediately you can click on the link to see ALL your books and the change will show right away.

Since your name seems pretty common and there are a lot of books to move, I would suggest you to write to support@goodreads.com
They can move you and your books to a different Dan Willis profile and you wouldn't have this problem anymore. Future books by you imported automatically would land on the "generic" Dan Willis profile and would have to be moved to the right one, but this is something a librarian can do easily.
edit: when you contact support, be sure to specify which titles are yours

I had specifically listed them as not mine when setting up my author's profile, so I don't understand why they are listed.If they can please be removed, that would be very helpful. My profile did include the only 2 books I am part of, but also added that entire list I presented. None of which are mine.

None of which are mine."Yes, unfortunately someone did not split your books from the others to give you a new profile, perhaps in error. Let them know again which ones are yours, and they will assign you a new profile with just your books. Otherwise, other authors with your name will continue to have books import there.

I have filled out that question thing. But I was told it could be days before I get a response back. I only want the books removed and the two that I am part of kept on my profile. Is there anything else I can do?
