My journal is for teens and young adults, and I was shocked to see that my name is also linked on Goodreads to this other book. I'm sure the other Grace Kelley is living a wonderful, fulfilling life, but I really need your help is separating the two of us. I work with young people and now publish for young people.

I've applied for author status, but was denied the first time - I've resubmitted.

Is there anything you can do in the meantime? Can I add an initial to my name to separate me from the other author?

Hello Grace,

if you have re-applied for author status and your request is currently being processed, I would wait till they approve or deny.

If they approve, then librarians can easily remove the other book from your profile (just post here again).
If they should deny, I can separate the 2 author pages and then you can re-apply again but for the correct profile.

But I wouldn't touch anything now, maybe they are working on it and we could mess things up.
