I realized what this was early on; a bold twist of a classic fairytale, but one I am fond of. I love the idea of the female hero. or heroine vs the damsel in distress. I. was not disappointed. I. could not put it down.

Even though I heard the story was sort of based on Beauty and the Beast, I had totally forgotten until it become clearer in the book. WOW! That was my reaction to the book. The thing is that the twists weren't predictable nor boring, they were the complete opposite actually. I also think I'm team Rhys...someone needs to fix his broken heart <3<3

Love the book, and I wanted to say I saw this other trilogy where two of the books were called Lucien and tamlin. I thought it was so funny and cool. I originally read acotar before I read throne of glass and love it almost as much as tog.

Does anyone know how long fae are pregnant?

I don't think it was ever mentioned. I know it's mentioned that fae children were rare but the books don't mention how long a fae's pregnancy is. Learning about a fae female's cycles was shocking.
