Finished: 17 of 43
I'm way under my usual total, but what I've read I enjoyed!
Breann - It took a bit to get into The Highlander's Touch but once I did it was really enjoyable. Circienn was a wonderful hero (unlike the guy in the first book...blech). He was really kind to Lisa and had such a big heart. I loved the twist at the end. This book had an extra fluffy HEA, but it was fun to imagine. I gave it four stars.
Karla -

Thanks for the picks! I'm looking forward to round 8!

I loved Azagoth as well.

Completed — 17/17!
thanks for all the great recommendations!!

Ho hum....what can I saw...I so love the Reaper's! And oh my Ruger....ya....he had me long before he told Sophie the story about her fingernail tattoo, but man that one pushed me over the edge! I really liked being able to see how their story began with Ruger's a** of a brother.

I really love how this series works...the melding of contemporary time with mythology! Even though there were a couple of different stories going on, Zander and Callia were the main focus...theirs is a complicated history and I enjoyed seeing it unfold. So much passion between these two!

So...I know there are a ton of Kristen Ashley fans, and after (finally) reading this book I can see why! I loved how this story unfolded from both sides...loved seeing how both Shy and Tabby grew up and grew in love. This was my first KA novel, but certainly not my last!

This was a sweet, short holiday story! I like Stacy and Issac's story...being married, some of the shiny, new passion can start to tarnish, but a weekend away helps them reconnect. And I seriously loved how it ended...their Christmas gifts to each other....so...fricking...awesome!

So...I listened to this book...for the most part at work...and it seriously should have a warning! I kept cracking up and had such a difficult time keeping it down at work! I really enjoyed this story...even though Drew could be kind of a jerk, I appreciated his bluntness and how the story unfolded. So looking for to the next in the series.

I really loved Ty and Imogen's story! I also loved them as individuals...Ty with his good ole' boy swag and Imogen with her bookish dry humor. They are a very sweet, yet real feeling couple. It was nice to see Elec and Tamara, as well as Suzanne and Ryder.

What a fun book! I was glad that David and Evelyn weren't all goo goo for each other. They had some big obstacles to overcome related to their hasty nuptials. I've had this book on my radar for a while and am glad I finally met the boys of Stage Dive!

This book was definitely hot! Having read the very short story with Jason and Tony, it was interesting to see their relationship grow in a different direction. Kate wasn't a bad character, but she kind of annoyed me most of the time. Now, her niece Veronica was something else! I do hope to see more of that young lady in future installments!

When I started this book, I felt like I had missed some of the story since it seems to follow after another couple's story. While I'm sure it would have been nice to to know more of the backstory, I was able to follow just fine and enjoy Sawyer's journey. It was fun to see how he dealt with his training to become a dom, especially since his personality screams alpha/dom male. Still, watching him grow into his role while forging new connections was awesome...and seriously HOT!

Let me start by saying that I have enjoyed seeing Tohr's story unfold over the course of the series thus far. That being said, I really liked this book, but felt like it dragged a bit too much. There were parts I absolutely LOVED...and there were parts I was really frustrated with. Overall, however, I think the story stayed true to the path Tohr was on and I was very pleased with how the story wrapped up. On a complete side note...what was with the constant description of Jane/Manny's doctor bag...seriously...the old-fashioned bag with a cross on it was mentioned at least three times...it just seemed an odd detail to me to be repeated.

The title certainly lives up to its name. This book was definitely "Raw." There was an edge from the first page straight on through to the end! I certainly hope there is more to come!

This was a good adventure romance. I wish there was a bit more Nathan/Bella before it went to Noah/Bella. I think it could have pushed this to a 5-star book. That being said, I loved how the story of Noah and Bella...how they fell in love (again).

I really liked Ty from the first book...of course, who am I kidding, I really like all of Red Team! I loved Ty and Eddie's story. The story had a good amount of action and "action." And being the doggie and pittie lover that I am, Tank just rocked!

This has been on my radar for a while, but I haven't had a reason to read it...It was a different twist on the master/slave stories I've read. Typically, the story is around the couple, but in this case the master (husband) is out of the picture for almost the entire book. Seeing how Molly handles her time with the master she has been left with temporarily was interesting.

I really appreciated how well the author handled, not only Vince's PTSD, but also Lulah's struggle to not become codependent. Both are really difficult topics to address and I think both were given their due in this book. As for Vince and Lulah's story, I really enjoyed seeing it blossom in this book. There were hints in Saving Justice, of course, so I was happy to see these two get their own book!

As much as I enjoyed this book, it wasn't as good as the first. It felt a little stilted.

This was a fun, hot book with one smoking hot alpha male! I can't wait to see what comes next for these two!

And congrats to everyone on finishing up at least the required 5 books!! I'm hoping to update my list in a couple of days :)

And so pleased you enjoyed Ball & Chain, Kat. I've decided to make my way through the series again over this year - slowly but surely getting ready for the final installment! (At least I think it's the last book we are waiting on ;)

Boo! What a disappointment to hear. Sorry it wasn't better for you. Now I'm scared to read it!

Boo! What a disappointment to hear. Sorry it wasn't ..."
I liked the prior book A LOT, so I will try book 4. But Sarah MacLean is hit or miss for me,

some HR authors don't do it for me, like Margaret Mallory. I am going to try one more Eloisa James before I toss her over the deck as well

Thank you.
