Two of the strongest Changeling packs in North America are the DarkRiver Leopards, controlling the San Francisco area, and the SnowDancer Wolf Pack, in control of the rest of California. The icy and emotionless Psy are under the control of a powerful council of seven beings with very different goals. And some of the humans, often thought to be the weakest of the three races, have decided to level the playing field.

Guild Hunter series

I'm in, not sure how many I'm going to read/reread. I'm going to start at the beginning and work my way the Psy/Changling series in audio. Hopefully this is the push I need to make some progress with them - I like them but I don't rush back to them and then so much time goes by that I feel I need to start over! I've read the first three and listened to the first. I am going to get to at least book six next year and hopefully much more than that!!

Is the narrator any good or maybe hard to tell having only done 1 on audio? Wondering, as I read my way through both series the first time. Maybe audio re-read would be good.....

I like Angela Dawe. I don't remember specifics from the Psy-Changeling series, but in general she is one of the good ones!

Had to check my review for comments, but I found it easier to follow the story in audio. This world created in this series is so complicated it takes a lot of focus to follow, I thought that was easier in audio.

I was ok following this series for the most part but IAD by Kresley Cole - I found the audio's much easier to follow with all of her characters,species and overlap from story to story to follow in audio. It will be interesting to see if I enjoy these the same or more in audio than I did reading.

I think I would like to join in. I have only read one book by her (Angel's Blood) and I really liked it but never made it back to the series. Since I have a credit on Audible I haven't used yet, maybe I'll try out the audio of the second book since you guys recommended the narrator.

That's what I loved about the guild hunter series - it wasn't the standard take on... well anything really. Because I've read up to the most recent books it's my opinion that there's not much that's in Angel's Kiss that doesn't have some consequence in the books yet to be published.

For those who are doing a re-read of the series the traits I'm betting on being important that are mentioned in this book are...

Little throw away lines but with the way his power is growing and the emphasis on the characteristics of the legion... also now that I think about it her ability to talk to / block him so early must come into play as well (hide spoiler)]

Finished and loved every moment :0)

It took a while but Raphael grew on me and I totally loved him at the end. He's my newest book boyfriend although he has yet to shove Curran off his pedestal.

Oh great. Now I have another series I'm addicted to. I was going to start with #1 of the Psy-Changeling Series, thinking I'd get an idea of the world, then go back to read the first two novellas. But in the end, I just wasn't able to skip over #0.5 Beat of Temptation and #0.6 Whisper of Sin. Finished them today, and I think they're an awesome intro to the series. Can't wait to dive on in!
