https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Police Procedural - near-future - some romance

Robb is an excellent storyteller who combines a clever plot with gripping scenes, lots of solid police investigation, and engaging characters with depth.

This one was a little slower paced than some, but still great.

Tiziana | 56 comments Here is my review of a light mystery A Gentleman of Dubious Reputation A Gentleman of Dubious Reputation (The Lord Julian Mysteries #2) by Grace Burrowes by Grace Burrowes
It's set in the Regency era where there is an air of sentiment and engagement interrupted by the war against Napoleon, but with a deep feeling of affection/love that is rising from the ashes.

I gave it 4 stars and I recommend it more to those who give importance to the emotional aspect told in books, rather than to lovers of mysteries.

MY REVIEW HERE : https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

**************-------*********

Right now I'm halfway through Medicus Medicus (Gaius Petreius Ruso, #1) by Ruth Downie by Ruth Downie

Again a light mystery, this time set in Britain during the colonial era of the Roman Empire.
The story itself is cute and I like the protagonists, but the author goes on too long in a thousand futile descriptions.
I don't know if I will continue the series.
In a few days I will be able to write a review (400 pages, but the boring descriptions always make me stop reading...)

( Sorry for my English, I'm from Italy, please forgive any errors in my text )

Great review Pam :-) I'd like to try this series but I'm waiting for the love triangle to get resolved first. I'm not a fan of prolonged love triangles. Did it get resolved in this book?
