I loved Immortal Highlander too! It was the first one I read, so when I read the rest, it was really hard for me to read the first one and see Adam as the "bad guy"
Does anyone else really want a new Highlander? I love the fever books, but I miss the romance of the Highlanders!!
The MacKeltars will always be my favorite! I have a soft spot for Drustan's story, particularly. And Dageus' story is just as good to me. I actually started the series when my mom bought me "Spell of the Highlander" for a Christmas present. So I started there, LOVED it, and went back and read the series.
Agreed, I lean more towards Dageus, too!

KMM wrote that she will plan a short story for one of the characters from the fever series...the only problem is she doesn't say which one. Christian? he could be another Highlander one...we have to wait until shadowfever to find out, I think.
I really hope Christian gets a happily ever after!

I totally agree. I would die if she released another MacKeltar book. I love those boys. I remember at the end of the series, there was hinting around more druids we don't know about.
I wonder if that is what KMM means when she says there will be a story stemming from the Fever world? Christian is very much involved in both the Highlander world and the Fever world.

but the ones i loved the most were dageous and adam.. the ones i didnt liked so much were cian and aidan.. i dont know why though...

yep no $200 for me, except I am so screwed found more series to read. Have to wait till my next break from school...

I loved loved loved the fever series, and that's what got me hooked on KM Moning... I originnaly bought the first highlander book (Hawk) and Darkfever at the same time... read Highlander book first, and didn't really care too much for it - it was also suffering as a rebound book/author after reading Acheron, by Sherrilyn Kenyon - which I LOVED. So I didn't pick up Darkfever til months later, probably around April/May of this year... then I was HOOKED - went back to read all of the highlander books I'd compiled, after finishing all of the Fever series... can't wait for shadowfever! Will be re-reading the books soon, so i can pick up on anything I missed...
I liked the Highlander series...but not so much the first three. I got hooked on the series when my mom bought me the LAST book for christmas. I read it, loved it, and went back and read them in order. But yea, the first three just weren't my cup of tea. When I got to the MacKeltars, I fell head over heels.
I agree with Amanda. I'm a huge fan of the Fever series and read that first and it's taken me a couple of months to get around to reading the Highlander series because i thought it was just going to be another historical corset ripping romance, which it is i might add! I read about so many people loving the series which is why i think ive made it to the 5th book so far and i have to say, the first 3 are mildly entertaining but fail to live up to KMM's Fever standard. I'm excited about reading the last two books though, especially Adam's.Talk about saving the best for last!
well, and Cian MacKeltar comes after adam's book - and I loved that one! whew!!! :)

I think the general opinion here is that KMM wouldn't DARE kill off Barrons. At least not permanently. I hope.

okay here is a question I am listening to Highlander's Touch and Cersian and Lisa have a baby (BRODIE) however i don't remember brodie being mentions in the feaver series since all the books are being combined.... in the book HT they say that the baby is going to be SPECIAL

I too loved the Highlander series. I even bought a few on auido and let me tell you they are HOT to listen too. I am hoping that after she is done with the Fey series she will go back to the Highlander series. Since the Fey series only has one 1 book left to come out
