Yeah, I was, like, 95% sure, but I just wanted to make sure since it is kind of dark. Thanks!

Do we want to keep our SS private or post link here in our thread?
It’s pretty much ready...sent via PM

If we want, we can also make another private group and remove the links to lists from here and add them -- and discuss the SS -- there.

So, as long as it's a certain colour it will qualify or do we have to do a certain number of each colour as a team or does this not matter?
And then, if it can also match one of the other criteria it gets Sin Bingo?
I'm just trying to work out my plan of attack and am thinking of finding colours in my TBR first and then seeing if I can match any of the other criteria as well.....

I haven't come across anything yet that mentions a particular quantity for the colors
If all three conditions in one sin meet, then you hit sin bingo.
And you can use Ambi's or my lists for most of the sins to match against the books on your shelves. Will save you some time is all because we tried including sin bingo level books or ones that met at least 2/3 criteria.

I’ll add to Midu’s response...
2/3 of the tasks gets you no extra points...
After sin bingo, color covers are next, but your book doesn’t have to be a color....
post 7 goes on and on,..look under spoiler...but here’s the gist...
◈ For reading books
Books between 100 and 499 pages = 0.1 points per page
Books between 500 and 799 pages = 0.15 points per page
Books 800 pages or more = 0.2 points per page
NOTE: Book Points will be rounded to integer.
EXAMPLE:
Pages/Points
160 -- 16
450 -- 45
500 -- 75
750 -- 113
800 -- 160
1050 -- 210
◈ Sinful Pride Points
As you assign each book to a sin, using one of the three categories you will get bonus points. If you are lucky enough to find a book that meets all three requirements (two for Avarice), you can call Sin Bingo!
7 points for achieving Sin Bingo
5 points for each book used for colour cover
3 points for each book used for top shelf
1 point for each book used for sin specification (EXCEPT for Avarice, which gets 0 points)
◈ For current BOM (Book of the Month) discussions
Writing a day's worth of discussion questions = 40 points
Participating in a current BOM (participating in discussion) = 20 points

You explained it way better than I did! Phew!
I think I'll do better with lots of 100-499 paged books and aim for sin bingo with as many as I can

On the working SS I emailed everyone yesterday, I’ll have a few books that qualify for Sin bingo...I’ve been checking out other team’s member lists looking for YA books that I’d enjoy reading...found quite a few actually

Thank you for putting in so much work into this! :-)

Ok, so we can literally read anything and get points for the number of pages first but then can get extra points if it matches a sin colour or the other criteria?
I was interpreting it wrong but think I have it now.
I'm also going to hunt for as many green books as I can then too.

To see the countdown, CLICK HERE
NOTE: Daylight Savings starting/ending in different areas may make this a different time to what you expect. PLEASE CHECK THE COUNTDOWN! You can also convert your timezone HERE
REMEMBER: Books MUST be started after the challenge to begins to count for Tower Teams
INVIDIA teamies...if you haven't been participating in our thread in last 3 days...please check in and say hi...catch up a bit by reading previous posts...we start in less than 48 hrs :)

A few housekeeping points/reminders...Please Read!
1. Please check in at least once per week
2. Use the working SS you were PM'd to record your completed books...we've had a few linking issues...so please check your PM link now. If you still have issues, PM Nikk for assistance.
3. If you absolutely CANNOT record your completion, please use this thread: Invidia Completed Books
This link was added to our thread at post #2 for future
4. Only post books you will ABSOLUTELY FINISH for each week on the SS. Captains will be monitoring this list to be sure we don't go over each week. Feel free to populate ahead of time if you know you'll read the book...this will actually be very helpful to everyone.
5. There are tabs on the SS for all to plan out your books...tabs for each week...so if you know you'll read in a certain week...you can put it down.
6. Have Q's, please ask
7. Please read through the thread since your last check in...we'll have mini challenges during the regular challenge and I'm sure other things to communicate along the way
8. Have fun reading!! Let us hear about the great ones!...maybe the duds too :)
Correction 26 hrs

It was hiding under a spoiler. 30-46. So, I should aim for 3-4 books?

Awesome...yes, if everyone reads their target we’ll land in the middle.

I finished my 1st book earlier today.
I did put a countdown at the top of our spreadsheet if you need to check on time remaining...I think it’s right ;)

The Dead and the Gone
Dead Beautiful
Shadow of the Sun
The Maze Runner
The Last Dragonslayer
The Lost Hero
The Perks of Being a Wallflower

How is everyone else doing?
Does anyone still need access to the spreadsheet?

I’m not sure about other teams, but there is a list of YA ‘green cover’ books on our working SS and at the beginning of our thread there is a link to books Midu found as well.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
My personal lists have a Green list too...not all of those will be YA, but some are... https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

I looked at the list last week and I can’t get access to any more of those books.
I’ve found books that I can access, that have green covers for ya. When I go into the page for that book, I can only see my friends who’ve read it, not people from tower teams which would be so useful!
I’ll have another look after work and maybe put some up onto our spreadsheet somewhere
