You'll love Gone Girl. We had quite a discussion on it's thread. You'll like it: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I just finished
and am unsure how much I liked it. It did tie the trilogy up nicely but the remained vague on what Area X really was. It didn't really end the story.I'm now in the middle of
by Chelsea Cain who I think is a very underrated mystery writer.

I'm reading one after another volumes of ワンパンマン 1 the most epic hero of all time - Onepunch Man and it is so hilarious that I can't stop reading!
I'm reading Journey to the Center of the Earth, Stranger in a Strange Land, Duma Key and Almost Adept

Heena wrote: "I'm reading Journey to the Center of the Earth, Stranger in a Strange Land, Duma Key and Almost Adept"I've read Journey to the Centre of the Earth. It was interesting, but I think it's dated. It read almost like a proper scientific expedition, which made it boring in parts, I found. Once they got on the water it picked up :)
I definitely prefer Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World as a better explory sci-fi prehistoric creature thing. It was a lot more fun. Although it was written much later, so Doyle was probably partly standing on the shoulders of giants there.

Sudev,
If you like this type of book, you might want to join the February Genre Challenge: mystery and thrillers. You can see the Genre Challenge schedule for the year here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Yes. In fact, I've read the first book twice already. I intended to read the entire series again because I thought GRRM was releasing Winds Of Winter in late 2016, but when I realized it wasn't happening I stopped (after the first book's re-read.) I'm gonna re-read the entire series in whichever year Winds Of Winter would be releasing.
I love (LOVE) this series!! As it was my first real high fantasy series, but the first book is my absolute true love. I'm a BIG fan of Eddard Stark... I have his posters and will be buying his funko pop soon too! For some reason, he touched me (along with millions of others) more than any other character in this series alive or dead and I simply can't get over his death :'(

Yes, I've heard that the author likes to kill off some of the most favorite characters.

I just got a Fantasy book (my last one for the December Genre Challenge) from my library:
Fearie Tales: Stories of the Grimm and Gruesome
Fearie Tales: Stories of the Grimm and Gruesome
I'm reading On Stranger Tides, a nice adventure novel about pirates and magic. In the same time, I'm reading Come tracce sulla sabbia a funny and intriguing mystery series, with a main character, a reporter, sometimes serious but many times definitely clumsy.
I am reading What I Didn't See and Other Stories. I typically don't read short stories so this is something different. I have only read two so far and they are not bad, but I keep expecting more by the end. They don't have the details that a book or novel does, but it good to change things up and try something new.

Trying new and different types of books is just what this group was created for. I know it helped me broaden the types of books I'm willing to try. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss, but I'm never in a reading rut because of this.

I just finished What I Didn't See and Other Stories, I am now reading Farthing. This is another different type of book for me so I will see how this one goes.
I this days I'm reading Theft of Swords a wonderful book. The story is intriguing with a couple of characters that complement each other.

Hi, Heena! I have not been very present in the last months,
favoring the readings rather than books discussions. But I hope to be with you for the next year. :)
