Currently I'm reading Cane and Abe by James Grippando. So far it has been a page-turner. I just finished The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen for another book club. It was superb--I gave it five stars.
I am reading the Demonsouled series by Jonathan Moeller. I just finished the second book, Soul of Serpents, and am starting on Soul of Dragons.
Currently reading Station Eleven
, I'm a huge fan of dystopian novels so this is right up my alley. Almost halfway through and enjoying it very much!
I am almost finished with SILENCE IN THE SANCTUARY by Deanna Raybourn. I am really enjoying this series.
I am reading book two of ten of the Malazan Book of the Fallen, I enjoy the wide ranging story line and well written characters so far. Plus, it is a complete series I have not read so that is swell.
I am reading The Fiery Cross, which is the fifth book in the Outlander series. I have really enjoyed all of the books in the series so far, and also sprung for Starz so I could watch the TV show based on the books. I also love the show, and feel the books are well suited to a television series. Diana Gabaldon writes her characters and settings so well, and I love the time travel aspect of these books. It makes for an interesting mix of historical fiction across multiple time periods (and the romance is pretty great, too! ;)).
I have finally made it the final book of the Demonsouled series by Jonathan Moeller, Soul of Swords.

I have read some great books this past week or so.
Now I am finally getting around to reading
and I am really enjoying it.
Two for the Dough by Janet EvanovichJack & Jill by James Patterson
Unholy Alliance by Haley and Lacy Yager
Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick
I finished the Demonsouled series by Jonathan Moeller. Not bad. Then, I just finished up Water: Tales of Elemental Spirits by Robin McKinley and Philip Dickinson.
Now, I'm on To Green Angel Tower, Part 1, by Tad Williams.
I just finished frostfire by Amanda Hocking. Omg it took me months! I couldn't even read anything in between. I have a rule once I pick a book up I have to finish it before I start another. Now I'm on to Love Me To Death by Marissa Clarke.
Still reading the Sovereign by C.J.Sansom... Love the story, but haven't had much spare time these last two weeks. However, I admit I have the bad habit of reading a book while eating, so I get to read at least once a day :)
I just picked up The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
. I'm excited to see how Salander's story evolves!
I took a break from writing and went to the Book Attic. I purchased a handful of old Harlequin novels from my favorite authors. Boy does that bring back memories. I can't wait to start. If you have a heart, you'll wish me happy reading:)
NYPD Red by James Patterson and some other guy. It was recommended by a friend. It's just reinforcing my dislike of James Patterson.
I'm currently reading The Second Deadly Sin by Lawrence Sanders. So far it had been very good--the protagonist, a detective called back into work from retirement, is trying to figure out who murdered a famous artist.
Catherine wrote: "im reading
only started it yesterday ,really behind on my Y.A"Loved the Percy Jackson Series! Hope you enjoy it as much!
Currently reading Winter of the World. It's the 2nd in the Century Trilogy. I really enjoyed the first one. I'm about half-way through and it's good.
Sonya wrote: "Jackie I really enjoyed book 1"I did too! I'm enjoying book 2 but they are so loooonnnggggg! This one is mostly about the children of the characters in Book 1. Really interesting.
I just finished Lady Thief (book 2 of the Scarlet series). I also finished Serafina and the Black Cloak by Robert Beatty. Both were good reads!
