It's time to start nominating your choice of a genre series other than mystery or fantasy that you'd like considered for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020 to replace Gaslight Mystery, which concludes in October. Our other two series will continue. We will begin the series with the most votes in November.

Examples of Genres to Consider
- Contemporary Romance
- Historical Romance
- Historical Fiction
- Romantic Suspense
- Contemporary Fiction (includes what may be referred to as Women’s Fiction)
- New Adult

There are only a few rules:

1. You're limited to nominating a maximum of three series.
2. Each nominated series must have at least three books.
3. The books in the series must be available for purchase.
4. Your nomination must include the series name and author (check on Goodreads for the proper series name).

Nominations will be open until September 15. At that time, we will set up a poll for everyone to vote for their choice. The top three will move to the final round.

Here’s the link to the list of nominations in this category from 2018:

Let the nominations begin!

Lieke | 1069 comments Not sure if I have any series that fall within these genres, most of my series are fantasy 😊
But I will check my TBR pile.

~ Giulia ~ | 104 comments I mostly have mystery and fantasy, and I don't think many of our members'd be interested in science fiction :)

I'll keep looking through my TBR

We don’t have to do another series if the group isn’t interested!

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 601 comments I think I've read at least some of the Marie Force series, and would refresh myself with those. The Byrne also sounds like an author I may have read some time ago, but not this series. I'm willing to get into a slightly different genre, if there's enough interest.

Sharmon (tpgirl) | 251 comments I am not nominating anything for this round because I am too backlogged but a word of warning about the Maisie Dobbs series.....It has been chosen as a series in two of my other groups, one group dropped it before finishing and in the second group I think I am the only person still reading it.

message 26: by Christina T (new)

Christina T (crysteena73) | 528 comments Im excited for this one. I wish amazon would discount some of these though. I keep looking and waiting. Finally last month The Highwayman went to $1.99 plus sales tax which of course I snatched up but regular price is pretty steep I think. Or maybe I'm just cheap. Lol probably the latter.

I’m fortunate that my library carries the entire series.

I'm cheap too. I don't pay more than $1.99 for an ebook. I will splurge at $2.99 if the book is part of my favorite series, but that is my limit.

We have the same idea there, Robin. $1.99 but an occasional $2.99 is my limit as well. The 2.99 is generally reserved for Nora's books if need be. I think last week one of her older trilogies was 2.99 for all 3 and I bought them.
