Well, I like Anita Blake and Kelly Armstrong, for whatever that's worth, and I have written a series that is about to be seven novels long. I don't use vampires, but there are (sort of) witches, dragons; no werewolves, but something called a "winged wolf" in the third and sixth books. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LLLVL0U Rated NA - Adult.
you MUST read the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning - it's amazing....I also recommend the Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost and the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison. Promise you won't be disappointed!
: )
Kim Harrison's Hollows series.J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
Jennifer Armentrout's Lux series.
They all have several books in the series and are really good.
I like Kim Harrison's Hollows urban fantasy series. Not only is the heroine in every single book, but so are her vampire-best-friend and pixie-sidekick, including some interesting side-stories on the sidekicks that you usually don't see in most series.
That should keep you busy for a while :-)

You can try The Morganville Vampires. It's an awesome series! Also, My Wolf's Bane is a good werewolf/shifter series. There's only two books out, but there's a prequel and a few side stories. Really good!
I second the Lux, Morganville, and My Wolf's bane! All amazing books! Here's a few more to try: Destiny Binds, Captured, Bound, and Prince of Wolves.
I agree with the Night Huntress series! You should try these other series:
- Charley Davidson by Darynda Jones
- Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
- Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill
I agree on The Morganville Vampires, book one is Glass Houses. I don't know if this will fit exactly what you're looking for but I have a ton of great book recommendations for you. Here are some of my favorites.- Rises The Night (The Gardella Vampire Hunters, five book series)
- Witches' Night Out (three book series)
- Book of Shadows (fourteen book series)
- Blue is for Nightmares (four book series)
- Darkhouse (nine book series)

J.R. Ward, the Black Dagger Brotherhood Novels. She has like 13-14 books in the series. All about Vampires. It's a great series but a little adult on some of them.
Well, I'll have to add quite a few of these to my "To Be Read" shelf. I'm always on the lookout for new books! With that said, you might want to try my book:
It's the first book in a series of at least three. I'm writing the second book now, which might be a turn off. BUT! I'm very active with my readers and have a sign up for my mailing list in the back of the book. I run contests that allow readers to name new characters, or pick the color of a character's hair, or suggest a cool place for my characters to visit. I'll also be handing out ARC's and offering special discount prices through the mailing list.
Long and short of it is, if you like the idea of seeing your suggestion come to light in a new book, now might be the time to get into the series.
Other than that, I enjoyed the first couple Sookie Stackhouse books, although I was surprised to find they were quite explicit. However, the series quickly lost it's appeal for me and I didn't finish.
The Night Huntress novels by Jeanine Frost are amazing! Badass vampire fighting chick meets one sexy ass vampire and her whole world gets turned upside down! Haha they are the main characters and the series is six or seven books long!
Lorraine Carey is excellent. Jonathan's Locket and Mysteries of the Red Coyote Inn. She has a new one coming out soon.. Love the way she writes. It's the type of books you just don't want to put down and then when you are getting to the end you don't want to finish. I felt the same way about the Hungar Games but these books are a bit lighter and are great for a quick read!~Lorraine Carey
Ok I have another recommendation! Black Wings series by Christina Henry - SO good!
Stick with the series - they keep getting better and better and the 7th book just released today.
First in the series is:
Firefly by PM Pevato First in a series by an indie author.
Witch and an immortal witch hunter. I could not put the book down.
I EXTREMELY recommend (if you haven't read these already)The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost
This series is complete and it features the same main characters in all the books. One of the best series ever!
There are companion novels to The Night Huntress Series.
Feat. Spade
Feat. Mencheres
Then a whole trilogy Feat. Vlad (He's the best!)
Then there's the Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs (also features the same main characters in every book)
There's also a companion series to the Mercy Thompson Series
