Hi everyone. I see that we are cramming to get some monte pages in. I have alittle over 6 hours left before my time is up and I'm hoping to be done with another book. Let's see how it goes.
I have about 7 hours left and could probably read another short book, but I'm calling it quits for the readathon. I've read 10 books for 2,951 pages. I'll never be up in the stratosphere with Rebecca and Iasa, but I'm happy with what I did.Happy Halloween, everyone!
Just finished my last book Bellman and Black: A Ghost Storywith 1hr 15 minutes left till the end of the Halloween Readathon. Wow what a week! I've never read so many books and I'm really proud of myself!
There is just under 2 hours left in the readathon for me but I've just finished Sharp Objects and I'm going to end my reading there. I had a lot of fun checking in on everyone this week and have been amazing at everyone's progress. I didn't get much progress in of my own, reading just 640 pages (less than the 2 day readathon last month) but I knew this week was going to be a challenge for me so I'm happy that I got to read at all.I love these events - I can't wait for more to come!
Ok I still have an hour left but want to make sure that I add 125 pages from Pleasure Unbound so that makes my total now is 1,324. I'm not sure if I'll remember to add the others when my hour is up and I want to say it was a fun challenge.
I've read 896 pages this week! I didn't realize I'd read that much.I have 4 more hours to go & may get some more in
I still have about 20 minutes left, but I don't think I can start and finish anymore books before midnight. I had fun and I'm happy with the amount that I was able to read.Books read:
Ticktock
Pet Sematary
Chibi Vampire, Vol. 02
Total pages: 944
Time up! Mile 81 44 pages
The Dune 16 pages
Fahrenheit 451 159 pages
Rage 111 pages
The Invisible Man 111
Frankenstein 250
Five Weeks in a Balloon 188
The Goldfinch 28
Final total= 719 pages
Fell asleep before midnight.
Here are my totals:
October Readathon : pages 760
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks: 111 pages
Abbot's Ghost: A Christmas Story: 128 pages
Moving the Mountain: 292 pages
Frankenstein: 63 pages
Thrones, Dominations:
"The Birthmark" : 50 pages
"Dr. Heidegger's Experiment" : 32 pages
"Rappaccini's Daughter" : 50 pages
"The Artist of the Beautiful" : 34 pages
Not as much as September, but this wasn't supposed to be as intense anyway. Just a little fun in between trick or treating. Which it was! :)

I finished my last book yesterday afternoon but was AFK for the evening, so I hope it's ok for me to post early this morning. :-) Here's my finished list…
Final Page Count : 2040 pages
The Hurricane Sisters 320 pg
The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August 405 pg
Murder in the Oval Office 247 pg
Pigs in Heaven 343 pg
And the Mountains Echoed 404 pg
The Art of Racing in the Rain 321 pg
Thanks for letting me play. I had fun!
Didn't report in last night before I crashed, but I finished 894 pages this week. Not as much as I intended, but I was determined to finish Dracula, and for some reason that one was a really tough read for me. So much fun! Congrats to all :)
I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it! A week one is definitely very good fun!
I personally didnt read nearly as much as much as I wanted. Uni work has been pilled up (assessments due in the next few weeks ahhh), so I've hardly had any time to read.
Nevertheless, I read roughly 400 pages, which I'm reasonably happy with. And Carmilla was seriously amazing! Like seriously! It's up there with Dracula for me.
In case anyone's interested, we're holding the next on at the end of the year, to try get the final pushes to our goals!

I finished Dracula!!! Slightly after midnight, so I can't count the last few pages with my readathon page count, but that's okay. I'm still counting it as an October read. (My ONLY October read... *headdesk*)
My official readathon page count - 307, or thereabouts. Yay?
