Only if it fits the alternate for this week (published in 2014). Otherwise spot 91 requires either a standalone book, a #1 or a #9.

Let's Be Just Friends (Just Friends, #1) by Camilla Isley
Book: Let's Be Just Friends by Camilla Isley
Qualification: 1st in Just Friends series
Finished: November 13
Rating: 3stars

Review:
It was a fun quick read.
I like Camilla Isley books, they're super entertaining, ideal for when you want to escape reality.
This one has a big love square haha, I didn't like that much, but I had fun, I disliked some of the characters and I think they got what they deserved.
My favorite was Rose as a main character.

Week 11

Book: Summon the Keeper (Keeper Chronicles #1) by Tanya Huff
Author: Tanya Huff
How it fits: 1 in Keeper Series
Finished: 11.15.19
Pages: 331
Rating: 3.5ish

Review:

I've read a few series by Tanya Huff and I think this older one is the weakest. It's fairly predictable and not particularly well paced. That said, Hell was very entertaining, and you can't argue with talking cats, so it was a fun read. I Think I'll continue on and finish out the trilogy, but it 's more filler reading than feature.

The Far Side of the Sky by Daniel Kalla
Date read: 11/15/19
Rating: 2 stars
Qualification: 1st book in the Alder Family series
Review: The concept of this story turned out to be better than the execution. It was interesting to read a WW2 story from the eastern perspective, taking place in Shanghai instead of Western Europe, and the characters were endearing. However, the plot seemed to go in circles, with similar incidents repeating themselves, and there was not enough depth of character or insight to take on a literary feel, so I was bored halfway through. I don't intend to continue the series.
