You're welcome! I just happened to be on computer when I got the notification that here's new comment :)
Just completed #5 (painting plays important role) - Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia. Let's talk about the good things with this book first: I appreciated the interesting world that the author created, I enjoyed the diverse characters, and as a southern woman I appreciated her portrayal of the crazy south. Other than that, the book fell flat for me and felt like it was a witch version of Twilight. There was so much teen angst and drama it made my head hurt! Entire pages of conversation were repeated throughout the book as the 16 yo characters declared their undying love for each other. Not an awful read but I'm not going to read the next book. 2.5 stars3/3 - challenge completed!!!
5. The Scream is a famous painting by Edvard Munch. Read a book that has painter as a character OR read a book in which a painting plays an important role.
