Some parts of this remind me of Palace of Mirrors by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Not sure if it totally fits though!

I've put it under solved Adult as the edition of the book I found has adult fiction stamped on the back of it.

I thought that too but the edition I saw in the bookstore this morning, which is how I remembered the book, was in the adult section and inside the flap where it usually says what genre the book is it says "Adult Fiction".

Should I move it to YA?
