My sister and I read a book about a helicopter or a plane that had a hook on its belly. This was in the 1970s, but the book could have been older. We live in Australia, but it could have been a book from USA, UK or Australia. It was a children's book.

No that's not it. the book I'm looking for is more a children's book probably aimed at about younger readers. it was illustrated too which I forgot to mention. thank you for helping with search
