Hi Everyone! We're about halfway through the weekend so it's the perfect time to check in to see how everyone is doing. We're going to keep the questions simple and open-ended. Even if you're not "officially" participate, feel free to jump on in.

For your copying+pasting needs:

How’s the reading weekend going for you?
Which book is on the top of your to-read list? (i.e. most excited to read)
What is ONE book you would recommend to anyone?

Like always, I have been horrible at predicting how much time I would have to read, and ended up reading less than I expected today, although still quite a bit. I have a busy day ahead tomorrow so I'm not sure I'l be able to read very much.

99 Percent Mine, which I have just started.

What is ONE book you would recommend to anyone?

Joan Barnett | 1972 comments How’s the reading weekend going for you? This weekend has been a mix of reading, chores, TV and family time. I haven't done as much reading as possible. I've been cleaning out my bedroom because we plan to redo it. Lots of family events with the 4th and then Stranger Things came out so had to watch that.
Which book is on the top of your to-read list? (i.e. most excited to read) You - I want to read it and then watch the series and it isn't in my ATY plan.
What is ONE book you would recommend to anyone? Becoming

Friday was great, Saturday, not so great. I couldn't sleep Friday so I stayed up reading most of the night. That of course meant that there was no way I could stay up to read on Saturday. I also had to work Saturday morning AND it was over 90 degree F all day. I just could not get comfortable to sit and read. Sunday (today) looks like a busy day with family activities so I may or may not get any reading done at all. We shall see!

Probably at the moment would be the rest of the Old Man's War series. I read the first one on Friday and loved it. I immediately ordered the rest of the series on Amazon. They should start arriving in the next few days (hopefully in order!)

What is ONE book you would recommend to anyone?
I am not a great one for recommendations. Everytime I recommend something to someone else, they hate it. I don't dare recommend any more!
